Deledio asks to be traded to the Giants - another big name on the move!
I don't get this from GWS perspective. He's a good player and all, but they are loaded with good players and salary cap would be getting very very tight. They're asking to lose big names.

It's being reported that GWS will offer a first round pick (which would be overs for a 30 year old) and Richmond would pick up some of his salary in return.

WCE were the first AFL club to employ an indigenous welfare officer (Phil Narkle) - great leadership by the club.

Current indigenous players are:

Karpeny
Hill
Wellingham
Jetta
Thanks Roc

Meant the drafted players, but right you all are, just feels as though we prefer not to draft indigenous boys however will trade them in moreso these days.

Great that the club has an indigenous welfare officer, let's get more oung indigenous talent through the door to make the most of Phil's obvious talents in such a role.

Would love Ryan at the club.

Playing him full time off the half bank flank would be pretty amazing. They're going to be loaded

I love how crumpet face tries to make it sound like the Ballantyne deal has broken down at the last minute when Vozzo has been saying all along that we haven't been talking to Ballantyne. THERE NEVER WAS A DEAL YOU ******* IDIOT

He the goes back to the Petrie well that he's been drinking from when we no longer have a need for a forward/ruck if the Vardy deal goes through

YOU STUPID ******* MORON

Write that story idiot since the only scoop you got was from reading Bigfooty. You Numpty

I understand from an onfield perspective he'll make them better, but they'll likely win a couple of premierships in the next few years with or without him. and as result a better player may be forced out. If you consider that our salary cap is tight when our depth is below average and we don't have a heap of stars, they must be cheating the salary cap to be fitting in all their stars and then their picks 2-10 who are depth in the wafl.

Brown is leaving it pretty late /? Is the Vardy deal waiting on Browns move ?
Would be interesting if we got Marsh as well - but id definitely prefer his older brother who is an absolute Champ.
So far not to displeased with our trade period because so far we've done not a whole lot but hopefully we snare a 2nd 2nd or late first round pick tomorrow somehow.

How long is it now that we have been making the most of "Phil's obvious talents"?

If that eventuated I'd rather have Giles as the sole ruck with any old random (Yeo, Darling, Schofield etc.) pinch hitting as needed rather than waste a rookie spot on Petrie. If Lamb and McInnes are contracted surely we would all be wanting to see them named and playing before throwing games at a retiree?

I dont want to see yeo or darling cop a career ending / curtailing injury playing ruck

Interesting that Richmond's Lennon has not received any interest after declaring he wanted out.

He was Richmonds first round pick (12) in the 2013 draft.

Another draft bust by the tigers?
We have been very poor in a lot of drafts so lets not throw stones...
