Bang for buck Hawthorn did very well I’d say. Gold Coast looked like they were doing decent as well then got * all for Hollands.

Port and Essendon both very busy and selling the farm this off season, whether or not it’s worth it I guess we wait and see. Essendon got McKay and Gresham in without losing draft capital, but paying through the nose for guys that aren’t elite really, just good players. Port however appear to have lost all form of draft capital this year and some next year too for their big moves.

Freo did well to get what they did from Collingwood but just seemed doomed to the revolving door of players leaving Freo.
Hey dumbo..no one is giving away their elite players. That’s why you only have B+ “ good young players” and struggling C graders available in the draft/trading period.

The joke answer is Mackie because he fleeced Port for pick 200.

I think the serious answer is Sydney. Didn't give up much and potentially got a lot.

Port should be barred from priority pick eligibility for 10 years.

If you show this level of contempt for the draft over multiple years then you need to accept responsibility for the long-term consequences.
Rozee, Butters, JHF will keep them off the bottom of the ladder during that time alone. They may never be enough to win, but they will be enough to not be anchored to the bottom.

Hey dumbo...

Did you not see last year's trade period? Dunkley, Taranto, L. Jackson, JHF, Rankine, these are not 'B+' or 'struggling C graders.' This year was just one of the worst trade periods in recent memory, and you brought in the best of what was available.

Might want to check overarching statements that make you look like an idiot - before calling others dumb, lol.

I honestly think the 2 grandfinalists were the only clubs to improve their best 22. Lots of player movement but I don't really think any other teams got that automatic improvement

Swans Although it's probably more of a short term window with their trades.

Now that trade week has concluded who do you guys feel like profited the most?
Whether that be picks or players.

It really is too early to tell. Last year every one said gws had a terrible trade period, losing Taranto, hopper, bruhn and hill while only bringing in Bedford. You just don’t know if one or two of this years C grade players can make an impact at a new club, whereas guys like Grundy and adams could be in decline (that’s not having a crack at the swans)

Really good point. Giving Green the space to take responsibility for your midfield was the best thing you could possibly have done. Gosh he looks a star.

Gold Coast. Some great value gained from there pick 4

Can see the AFL finally reviewing the the points index though. Long overdue
