We need a key forward so why not check out all available. We are not going to end up with a star, just someone who will help our structure.

So we have been hearing for the past 10 years. And sorry to sound like Tempo(Broken record) but getting a dud doesn't help our structure. Bandy, Bartlett, McDougall, Morgan, Rawlings, K.Hunter ect ect.
Actually Welsh has been by far the greatest pick up we have had. He doesn't need to kick 4 goals a game to help our structure. Why? Because he's not a dud, he's not a superstar either but at least he's not a liability like those mentioned above and those mentioned as possible 'Mooney' like structural pillars.
Anyone got a sneeking suspicion that we may make a play for Seaby?
I mean we tried to get him last year and we couldn't (don't know why though, contract?). So now that he is up for a trade we may make a play for him. He wouldn't cost that much, maybe a 3rd rounder....not sure

He isn't the star forward we need, but he would probably be the best option available to fill the hole in our forward line. He is 200cm and weighs 99kg, so he fits the size that we need. Only problem is his skills, but he can take a contested mark and can only improve with more game time.

Like you said, by all reports we had a crack at him last year, but ended up with Hudson, plus now with Cordy as a developing ruck / forward, Shaw & Mulligan developing through the rookie system, Minson to take over Hudson as our number one ruckman when Hudson finishes, i don't think we need Seaby.

Worth a first rounder and ours is gone. Possibly Melbourne, St Kilda or Carlton. De-values Warnock though.

They will want atleast a 1st rounder which we don't have anymore. So I doubt that we have anything they want.

Regardless we don't need another ruckman(despite his price we couldn't match). Can't play 3 ruckman and Minson won't make it as a full-time forward - although he'll be great pinch hitting down there.

Yeah Rocket has said that we will not be targetting a ruckman in this years trade period.
Besides, McIntosh will cost a top 10 pick.
His stocks really shot up last year, would be worth a pick somewhere between 7 - 14 IMO.
Oh **** no. Why Bulldogs? Why? I swear I'm going to turn in to Tempo soon if we keep going after tall forward hacks.
