Which fact have I deflected from?

You said a trade has to involve 2 players. I proved it didn't.
You said we should strive to be like the AFL. I pointed out that certain posters would not have survived this league if it were like the AFL.

What else have you got?

I can't believe you have entered into a debate with a cracked brick wall..

Very entertaining though... :D

Works giving me the shits.

If the Bombers agree to this then sure go ahead.

I wont bother replying to your "Lets make the SFA like the AFL" rants. Not many AFL players get a 5th chance.

Cheers on the laugh.

Try working with the Chinese!!! So many huge differences in the way business is done!
Try working with the locals in Frangghanastan IMS plz

I agree with that tbh. There have been no trades thus far in this period. Just 2 players walking to their desired clubs for free. C'mon SFA, let's be a bit more professional in this thing!

From memory we traded Monfries for pick 51, Gumbleton for 55 and Crameri for 26. But at least those picks turn into players so we basically traded Monfries for Van Unen, Gumbleton for Fantasia and Crameri for Z.Merrett.

In here, you are trading players for bags of chips. 1) You don't then get players from those chips 2) You're not even receiving the chips. I know it's impossible, but if these chips were to be physically exchanged for the players, at least it would be a trade, regardless of the unprofessionalism it would show. But it's not real so they are walking for nothing, basically going through a loophole for that rule that once your delisted you can't play again that season.

Who did Geelong trade King and Gardiner for?

What happens if said fly on the wall gets into the packet of chips I was traded for?

Or is that like the "Veale Deal"?

Why stop there. Each player should have to physically sign a contract with their club, due to which each captain has to own a fax machine. As well as this, when a trade is made all 4 parties have to sign a trade agreement and send it to boncer34, who will also need a fax machine.

And to become truly professional all clubs must have a recognised committee and are required to have club AGM's.

Laughable.

And let's be honest. We should get paid. I just don't know how I can go to work AND banter every day and be expected to give 100% in both.

It sickens me and tomorrow I'm going to punch my boss and Ljp in the back of the head.

There's some big sponsorship opportunities out there as well. I hear that Puma are looking at forcing their way into the qooty boot industry. Personally I'd love to see West End and youjizz.com logo's on the SwampRat guernseys.

Well your guernseys are usually covered in West End and your jizz anyway, so you're nearly there.

It's called a TRADE, 2 players go in opposite directions. You wouldn't see this mockery done in the AFL.
Isn't the chip packet a player? Look at him on the field drifting away in the wind, so gracefully and elegantly.

There goes my hero, watch him as he goes...

It's not up to me. I just thought given the whole premise of this new trade idea was to give everyone the opportunity to participate. Well, this was the Royals' mantra anyway. And now that they have someone wanting to play for them, they reject him. Kinda shits on the spirit of new trade period.*

*Still think this whole trade thing is bollocks.

Wait, doesn't every other club do this? Standard practise at the Hawks. ;)
