MD, Marklar, BB 3 way swap last season. All 3 parties were both happy to move, Ljp86 wanted more as he thought BB was expanding.

That trade failing worked out better for everyone (and the Royals) in the long run.

Except, I guess, the Dragons which is apt but then all parties are healthier now than they were during that trade week.

Can you clarify though what you mean by BB expanding? Were we going to get him or did he think by getting Marklar we were copping the raw end (which would have been wrong)?

You would have gained BB. Ljp86 refused as there were rumblings BB was leaving at the end of the season anyway due to an expansion side.

Doesn't it depend on how much you want to leave? Both Leo and pants were desperate to get out of their clubs and both did it (I hate to say it because of personal relationships with both) bitterly. Neither could care less if their previous teams got anything out of it so the packet of chips thing is of no symbolism.

There was talk of chips being sent with me, I believe a very small pack of Burger Rings was the talk but it didn't eventuate and now the a Royals have their Grain Waves

Most clubs are happy to welcome anybody to their club, so it says more about the poster than the club when that poster is refused.
