read on the fox sports website not only does it seem we are trading our best player in TJ but we are paying part of his wages for next season.

I cannot believe how stupid the club is. First off why get rid of him when you know he is a genuine match winner and why offer to pay some of his salary.... we should have ample room in the cap seeing we have no other good players to pay the money too.

It infuriates me that the club its acting in such a manner. If this is the first move of the Bailey/Connolly partnership then I think its time that we start lookig for a new coach!!!!

The club does to chose to pay his salary. Like when we got ben Holland richmond were paying half his salary for 1 or 2 years.

Will not get Bolton, it goes against wat craig cameron said at the start of trade week. that melbourne will trade only players over 23 for high picks and/or yunger players. Melbourne will only trade players under 23 if an exceptional deal is put foward.

Read in the Herald Sun this morning a deal with Saints may be done, but remains unlikely. IMO any pick wud b good but were prbly lookin at 40+

Good news IMO.Miller offers a very mobile target up forward and whoever lines up on him from the opposition has to work pretty hard to keep up with him.

He needs to get back some of his aggression and a bit of self confidence that might come with a coach that has some belief in him.

I'm happy to be in the minority here, but I'm glad Miller has signed on for another two years.

Murphy wud be a good pick up for the right price a pick between 25-40 or a like player wanting to go home i.e. josh kennedy

Murphy was about pick 12 for Freo 3 years ago and doesnt get much time up front witrh Pav/Tarrant/Farmer there now. 2 years ago he was instrumental in getting Freo started on their run to the PF.

If you watched the Melb V Freo SF for example in 05 we actually were right in the game in the 2nd Qtr then he came on and booted 2 crucial goals. He has plenty of potential and is around 21-22.

Now explain to me how the heck we are going to get Murphy for pick 25-40? Freo wont be trading him unless they get a good offer.

We would be getting him for less than what they paid plus they have put 3 years development into him?

I said above "an example" which is one particular game he played well in. I also said that he was a key player in their run to the finals. Trading is over now anyway so whatever we keep 14 and try get someone like Rance in the draft.
