I always thought of Shuey as a bit of a flight risk given what has happened in the past with his sister. If his parents/family still are not holding up too well, nothing in the world may stop him from going back to support them.

But then again tis silly season. We are apparently entertaining Zac Clarke to Richmond for Thursfield and their second rounder!! Lol

the club has been extremely supportive of shuey in what has been an extremely tough time for him, and the character of the kid suggests he wants to repay west coast in spades, which i have no doubt he will

The SpyandScource guy on twitter who originally came out with the Shuey stuff has this to say:

Don't be surprised if WC drafts former saint M.Rix as a mature age rookie. They have concerns over Cox's longevity and want NN as a pt fwd

I guess there would probably be a fairly diverse opinion as to what would be the right value of Shuey, purely because he hasn't been able to play many games in his first couple of seasons. Based on what we as Eagles supporters know, we would likely rate him a lot higher than someone who has only judged him on his 6 AFL games. I'd think pick 8 would be close to the mark at the moment, though god help us if he leaves!!

I reckon he's got two big wheel-of-fortune wheels; one with the 17 clubs and another with the names of 800 current or recently retired players.

That said, I could (easily) see you chasing a mature state league ruck.
No depth there at all.

Well, it is only day 2 and nothing we have ever done suggests we are typically big players ....

I assume when they say "baulked" they mean Woodhouse pretended to throw a punch, the Essendon guy flinched and Woodhouse cracked up laughing, before refusing the trade.

haha yeah because our previous trade week history has always been about going flat out.

you have to factor in that absolutely nothing gets done in the first few days.

besides offloading spang and bmac, we'll probably only get one player.

hope it's dick.

though, i dont mind the idea of motlop playing for west coast. at least it'll be exciting to watch, the guy can do anything when up and running.
