Just heard from a mate in melb that carlton have pulled out of the mackinley trade leaving only kangaroos who have offered pick 69 which the eagles will accept to ease salary cap pressure and get him out of the club with no hassles if this is true than that is a weak trade.

at least it gives us some space to put hansens salary in this years cap and get another pick in this years draft.

Would rather we let them both walk then trade for a pick we won't use. They are young players so would hold 'some' currency.

Would be happy for a courtesy trade for Hansen for services rendered.

Will be a champ at VFL level. A sort of poor mans Aaron Edwards - undersized tall forward....

Inconsistant, 16 games in 10 goals, had a couple games of 4 & 3 goals, pretty inaccurate though.

haha just like Azza kicking 100 goals at west coast Nah he should work well with the new rules Bon Scott should get his attitude right and give him a kick up the backside he needs. I guess he has more potential then Azza with him being youger, Id think if Azza doesnt put in a big year he may be moved on next year so Mckinley may come in then Pretty fair trade and you get pick in the draft 69

This would mean we gain Pick 18, Krakouer, Ceglar, Hill.
And lose Pick 26, Pick 28, Pick 45, Spangher, Mckinley.

So we'd go into the draft with Pick 4 (Heppell or Gaff) , Pick 18 (Lamb or Darling) and Pick 62 (Brennan). Then with our PSD pick we can select whoever, and we can upgrade Stevenson to the main list. Whilst delisting 2 of Nicoski, Bones or Hansen.

I personally think this would be a great result for us
