Please tell me these Shuey "rumors" are bullshit
I've heard nothing about Shuey being up for trade.

i wouldn't be upset if essendon traded pick 8 for shuey but i don't see it happening. more chance of trading pick 30 and whatever compensation they get off richmond for houli assuming that goes thru. should richmond give up pick 29 i personally think a deal of picks 29+30 is adequate.
well when you draft an 18yo in the first round you anticipate 12 years of service with the guy getting in about 15 games in his first 2 seasons.
with shuey he's basically missed 2 years of football, will take a year to develop now so he's behind the 8-ball in terms of value on the open market.

The only pick i would trade Shuey for is pick 1, David Swallow.
Quinz card this guy quickly. He'll be the detonator in the geoffe miles atom bomb. His ol mate hardie will catch wind of this and geoffe will explode and wipe out most of the southern suburbs of perth![]()
Yeah. I don't know why i listen to radio stations with journalists who get their information from personal contacts built up over years in the industry at clubs and player managers and who spend all of trade week at the actual location where it's taking place talking off the record to the people actually doing the trades. I should just come here instead and fill my brain with knowledge from all the genuises on here who have spent the last 3 weeks dreaming up ridiculously convoluted trade theories where we get involved in an 8 way trade with 17 players involved and end up getting rid of 3 fringe players, a 30 year old with an ACL and a 6th round pick in exchange for two first round picks and Daniel Rich. And they take up pages and pages of threads discussing it as though it actually existed in the realms of possibility.
It's funny how much ego there is on here and how much of an expert and how close to the coal face some people seem to think they are. I would rather listen to a journo with contacts than the totally illogical, ridiculous and biased rubbish that idiots post on here. Circle jerk city. But you feel welcome to keep listening to the posters here and being "in the know" on these 8 way trades if you like. I wil stick with the journos.
If Shuey wanted out i would have thought that he would have told the club that before day 2 of trade week.
We've offered Teague a deal last week and he's sitting on it. Would rather stay with Carlton in an increased role and is waiting for them to come back to him.http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2010/10/06/eagles-target-teague/
Might be hard to lure from melbourne but seemed better news that our trading so far
Suggestion on Melbourne radio yesterday Hurn to the Gold Coast.
Came in on the conversation late, not sure if talking trade OR Hurn is contracted?
The way that Hurn talks about farming I don't know why he doesn't ask for a trade. He seems to live and breathe it. Guess he's just a loyal bloke but I guess everyone knows that.
That story has been regurgated from last year
