let the stick insect go
You realise that there are two stick insects in that photo? I think they are mating. Just sayin'...
Look at this article: http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/103977/default.aspx
Apparently Port have offered up Jacob Surjan to Carlton to get Andrew Walker. They need to get rid of Motlop to be able to afford Walker but there is no interest.
Now if Port need to make room why don't we offer pick 28 for Surjan he is from WA 25yo
and could work well in our squad.
We won't give up picks 4, 26 or 28. I wouldn't use any of them on Surjan either to be honest.
Why would they give up Surjan for Walker?
If this were true and I were Surjan, I'd be pissed. Similar to Campbell Brown last year.
The word is Surjan hates Motlop and visa versa. Has said if Motlop is not traded he wants to be.
Does he want to go to the Blues or Victoria?
Who knows, but Port have been chasing Walker.
I'd have Surjan, 25 and a very good small backman. Just had kne surgery so with no time for medicals its a risky trade if you pay too much.
I'd offer lower than the second round i.e pick 45 or even less. We're not desperate to get him and can afford to play hardball aka McKinley. 2nd round definitely too high in a good draft. Could be a useful player but is not a star. Fills a need but not one of the most pressing ones i.e outside running mids and KPF.From memory his shoulders are ratshit too btw. In saying that he's a beauty of a back pocket and i'd be happy to have him with our second rounder.

Freo have/are going to secure Tendai Mzungu and Pick 44 for their Pick 38.
Source is on the Drafts and Trading board.
Would have liked him at the Eagles. Dockers a lot more proactive than us in securing him unfortunately.![]()
Huge development brewing this evening Which Eagle will be flying east? We'll have all the news from 9am tomorrow morning from the dome
I dunno, considering we finished last this year,i thought we might have tried to recruit some good players, to try and add something.
maybe the coaching panel arn't as pessimistic as i am?
