I was just wondering what adelaide supporters think of this possible trade

just reading a post somehwere earlier and someone said something about Ken Mcgregor i was wondering what does everyone think of this trade i came up with.

Whitnall, Livingston, Sporn to adelaide

Mcgregor and burton to carlton.

this gives us a key position backman and a forward/midfielder and they are both under 26.

adelaide gets a replacement forward for carey and a backman for mcgregor whilst also getting a up and comer in sporn who is from adelaide.

if not good for adelaide, you could change livingston with a draft pick and fix it up that way?

I'm sorry the GDP of this state would not cover Whitnall's food bill - so no can do. :p
But while I think Livingston and Sporn are good prospects - there's no way Kenny will be going anywhere - he's the closest thing to a CHB we've ever had. Burton is definately on the table though. What about Livingston for Jericho ?

livingston is definetaly trade bait but i cant say i know much about jericho so i dont know if id do it.

we need a big backman who can take the big forwards like lynch and neitz

I would say Kenny is an untouchable at Adelaide so there goes the deal straight away.
No way would we want Whitnall, hopefully we have learnt from Carey that recruiting a washed up forward aint going to help anything. Dont know much about Livinston and Sporn so I wont comment.
I dont think Adelaide will be doing any big trades this year just the one for Stinger I would say

McGregor is the closest thing to an untouchable we have! Burton, he is up for grabs, but apart from your 1st round pick, I don't know if you have anything we would be interested in.

Livingston, no thanks we have enough young key defenders (McGregor, Rutten, Bock, Parker). How about we trade you Massie back for Sporn?

hahahahha not a chance, sporn is a rising star and massie is all over pretty much.

The chances of Kenny McGregor getting traded are as good as Adelaide getting Tredrea.

NO CHANCE. Kenny is in the untouchable category for us. He is probably one of the most important players for our structure.

Ken McGregor is a required player. McGregor displays characteristics that are required for the modern-day footballer; accountability, mental strength, vision and perserverence.

A future leader of the Club.

Ken McGregor will play out the rest of his brightening career with us.

p.s. Id rather Kenny than Pav any day; the work ethic he has is sensational.

he was displaying that work ethic last night at Heaven nightclub :D
i went to the Grinspoon concert and there were a few Crows boys there continuing on with their Mad Monday celebrations...a few were in fine form :p

Livingston is a dud, was pick 4 I don't know how many years ago, and about his only success has been when he has someone drop back the fill the hole in front of the FF he is playing on. Think it was Lloyd where that worked.

;) didn't Stiffy start the trend?
Blame it all on Stiffy;):p

Whether or not you agree is irrelevant but anyone in football circles will tell you that Ken McGregor is one player in our structure that is extremely important. Lose him and you are in a bit of strife.

And players do knees, and life goes on, and players stand up and develop (aka Rutten and Bock)

Very very few are irreplacable, and given the right deal very very few are untouchable ;)
