It was just nice to have a little Black Caviar foal (now filly) running around.
Was enjoyable to watch her and it was a nice third.
Looks like she won't be a super start but could be a nice horse.
In a similar vain (misspelt pun intended) did any of Makeybe Diva's progeny ever have any major success? I never really heard much about her offspring.

Not particularly of any note. So answer is no - this far.

It's an interesting situation of champion mares producing not that much.
Reasons are a mare gets only one chance a year to produce a nice type.
Some say they get spent during their careers

Some that have produced top horses:

Wakeful (superstar mare early 1900s) produced Night Watch (Melbourne Cup winner 1918 Melbourne Cup)
Horlicks (star mare who won a Japan Cup) produced Brew (Melbourne cup winner 2000)
Rose Of Kingston (oaks winner) produced Kingston Rule (1990 Melbourne Cup)

Not sure that Dave really wants the first page of his 2017 thread littered with horse talk. He is not what you would call a man for all seasons, and would be happiest if football consumed a much larger portion of the year than it does. Never known Dave to display interest in spring carnivals or champion sprinters or stayers, let alone their yet to be famous progeny. Just thought I would intercede before Dave directs you to make anal suppositories of your Oscietras, Divas or Caviars of any shape or colour. ;)

It's the Women's League.

Practice Game on Australia Day vs Doggies and Season Starts 3rd of Feb vs Carlton
And when does the 'real' football start for us? When do the men get to prove for the first time that they are eager and ready to strut their stuff on the big stage?

She will win races, yes. But many uneducated "punters" were saying she was as good as her mother before she had even run a race at all!
