I’m not sure Apple has people’s best interests in mind
They’re one of the largest corporations in the world. All they’re concerned about is squeezing dollars out of peopleIn what way?
My kids seem to do all school work on laptops. To be honest, i didnt realise how much you can do on OneNote!I am trying to find out how much schoolwork is done on laptops and how much with pen and paper.
So if they get limited to 90minutes per day they'll have to use pen and paper? My kids seem to do all school work on laptops. To be honest, i didnt realise how much you can do on OneNote!
I haven’t received any notice from the school. I wonder if public and private are different in that way?So if they get limited to 90minutes per day they'll have to use pen and paper?
Have they been told of any changes next year?
Apple has zero interest in people. They make electronics products for profit, that's all. If they pretend to care about human beings it's for business reasons. In what way?
One of the things I don't understand is whether or not kids will still be allowed to use their own laptops or if they will have to use school laptops which would be shared.I haven’t received any notice from the school. I wonder if public and private are different in that way?
One thing I will say is that it seems kids get into trouble playing games in their laptops during class. So, it’s probably a good thing, particularly in the junior levels that their use of their laptops is limited.
Government primary schools will be required to provide devices. One of the things I don't understand is whether or not kids will still be allowed to use their own laptops or if they will have to use school laptops which would be shared.
Wouldn't be any games on those.
Anyway, thanks for the information.
Government primary schools will be required to provide devices.
It’s a Victorian Government decision. Doubt they drop it given it’s a saving for parents.I see that this rule will only apply to Victorian schools from 2027 and for primary classes 3-6
What's the bet they drop the entire thing at some poiont in 2026.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.
