We saw one at the beach yesterday but fortunately no stinging occurred. Big swell with lots of rips.
Weather has been good so far. I’ve done a lot of walking and have even lost some weight!

Actually heated water makes you sweat so you cool down quicker.
That would be the theory.

I think it would be that after the shower finishes your body (and most importantly head) is covered in water which aids in lowering your body temperature quickly
