Pass on Corrie.

Gotta be honest, haven't seen much of Blight except for when he tore us apart in the VFL Semi Final last year. Some Collingwood supporters rated him solidly at the beginning of the year. In fact, the two "young" players I heard a bit about with their two Jarrad B's; Blair and Blight.

Considering he was delisted, he must have had a pretty poor year. Having said that, Collingwood's depth is nothing short of outstanding so it may be worth making a play for him (I have a feeling the Pies may re-draft him as a Rookie).

What do you guys think about Jed Lamb, do you think he could last to our compo pick and would you rather someone like him then using the compo pick on Sherman or Walker?
 
I would rather we hang on to our compo pick. We are not going to get the equivalent of what it is really worth, thanks to the Gold Coast

Can't see too many coaches 'banking' the compo pick.

It's good in theory to hold onto it for a year of two, when its real value may increase.

Unfortunately coaches are coaching for the now & all will want to improve their teams as quickly as possible.

Can't see a coach holding it back for his replacement if his team doesn't fire & he's give the bullet.
 
So we trade out our first rounder tomorrow then what?

Should we be looking at Joel Wilkinson? He smashed Danyle Pearce's 20-meter sprint record with a 2.75 seconds. Also smashed the repeat sprints record. Would be cool to have a Nigerian at the Club.

I've never hosted. Occasionally a special guest in the studio, that's about it. Also worked the phones a few times. :confused:

Ah thought so, ive read some of your post and thought id hear the ame ot of thing a few times. I was in the studio once, my big call was that Gilly was finished and warnie had a few years left in him. NExt day gilly hit a ton of 70 balls and warnie retired.

I heard them mention that kid tonight, round what pick would he be taken?

It's nice that he can run fast, but can he play footy?

What are his strengths (besides being able to run fast) and weaknesses Xie?

All I know is that he only started playing footy two years ago, but has a sports culture in his genes. He lives in QLD, played his footy in the QAFL. His Dad represented Australia at some championships in the 100m and 200m several years ago.

Not sure what his strengths and weaknesses are, apart from being rated as a second or third round prospect.

Fantasia doesn't say Everitt is a 'required' player, it says he is a contracted player - I think it sounds like he will definately be leaving.

There is also an article on the AFL site in which Nixon says Everitt will be traded seeking more opportunities.
