The problem is that every possible deal is covered in such excruciating detail before it happens that there's deals that when they were announced as a possibility probably shocked me, but by the time they actually went through I'd heard about them 100s of times already so the shock wasn't there.

Buddy is the only one that jumps out as a 'wait, he went to Sydney?!?'

We just don't get the NBA style trades where out of nowhere a star player is on the move.
