Got beaten in my main league semi-final last year by a guy who wasn't worried about his overall position, just the league wins.

Had a good team from start, saved his trades and came home with a wet sail & plenty of luxury/injury trades to win our league.

Regardless of what you're chasing, league or overall, to have only spent 7 trades by this stage means your cash generation is worse than most meaning you're chasing tail.

However, as in the actual example I gave you, there are situations where trading your arse off may not be required.

Down to 11 now. Team Value at 12,779,000. Placed 2,600th overall. 1st in 2 of my leagues, 3rd in another 2, 6th in the other.

Probably 4 more players I want to upgrade, but in no rush. Projected scores of 2400+ for my next 3 games at least.
