I was talking to Calthorpe last week and he said he had not heard anything from the club since he had an operation, so l assume that means he's not wanted.

We had a new #17 running around in the MKs for the last few rounds so I'd say that's an indication of some sort.
Actually the new guy is tall and gangly, and looks a bit like Tim Rogers. Unfortunately from what I've seen, Tim Rogers might be a better footballer...

I went to McDonald's today and they had a commemorative paper tray mat to announce the retirement of Heavy D, a fast food stalwart who gave many good years' service to the golden arches (among several other fried food establishments).
In the interview on it, he was asked what was his favourite career moment, and replied :"Back in the old Essendon days, when Scotty Cummings and I had a competition to go down the board at Macca's (order one of each item), I actually lapped him!"

my footyslut sources tell me that apparently the club had asked Calthorpe to leave 3/4 of tha way through tha season. No wonder...apparently he was a real ***** to have round the place which i think just from going to some of the functions this year everybody would have noticed this anyway.

By the way, speaking of Heavy D... one of the guys at work told me today that Calthorpe announced his retirement on the same day as Olarenshaw - I must have missed it.

I was down at the club wednesday and popped the question about Calthorpe - he hasn't announced his retirement and will be delisted.....

in the article on retired players outta the herald sun last week it mentions Calthorpe as retired and has a little thing on how many games hes played and how many goals he kicked.
What about how many burgers and chicken pieces he ate??
