can i get some advice on the following this week i was looking at doing

out ARMITAGE and in WELLINGHAM
out RIOLI and in CHAPMAN

and then next week

out PALMER in COTCHIN (who would be on the field)
out TIPPETT in B JOHNSON

are these worthy or am i just wasting trades

It is going to be a busy three weeks in terms of trading for myself.

I plan to use 6 trades, my cash cows are starting to look ready

Tippett, Gamble, Rioli, Bird, (Maybe) Ellis and Palmer.

Players on the radar are

Wellingham, Cotchin (Debut a week to early for my liking), Myers, Neagle, Valenti....

Now I just need the right mix of downgrades and upgrades...

I'm thinking about Bird -> Wellingham and Kennelly -> Myers this week
Next week Tippett -> Valenti and maybe Palmer -> Cotchin.

Or you can just do the original trades but get Wellingham instead of Cochin for Bird, will net you 110k and from all reports should play most of the games from now on.

Thought about that, but I think Cotchin will be a better 7th centre, in case of an injury with the main 6. Was impressed with Wellingham's Anzac Day game, but I suspect he might be more likely to be dropped out of the team at some stage than Cotchin. The second version of my trades will allow me to possibly fix some backline problems with the $ and 1 trade and then pretty much sit on my team (barring major injuries) with 8 trades until the finals.

Thinking about Taylor for Myers. My concern is that Taylor is looking solid for the Geelong team and will pull 55 points a week. A good backup for the season. He also has about $45k of appreciation to come, so would be trading him early.

Is Myers worth grabbing or can I pass on him for the next rookie back?

I do need a cash upgrade for my other trade - Rioli to Chappy, though I could go Jack to Cotchin to fund it instead.

yea im in the same boat and looking to do rioli to chapman and need to find money . im going armitage to wellingham which will free up the money required

If he is your 7th back, don't do it. Waste of trade IMO. Put your trades to better use, there is so much uncertainty around the backs this year. Bradshaw isn't that bad, he's averaging 76, had a bad game last week and still got 57, keep him.

Exactly the same backline as me. I am leaving it for the year, don't see a great gain by trading Bradshaw to anyone else at the moment. No backline players around getting 100's consistently (other than Cornes and Shaw). So if Bradshaw can get 60's and 70's, throw in a 100+ here or there, he is definately doing a job of a 7th backman. No need for that trade IMO.

That will leave my Backline finished for the year excluding injuries
Only Ibbo to upgrade in the middle
Rioli and maybe Porps to upgrade in the forward line

Neitz has a 4pm press conference today to announce his retirement.

Only one will return to the Rookie List, but which one??
