Id offer a 2nd round pick + McKinley something like that. I reckon he will end up asking for a trade back to WA. Surely he cant see himself making a career now in Vic especially playing on the Dome surface so often

if he really wanted to go you would think they would be able to come to some arrangement. but lets hope he has the fire in the belly to come back bigger and stronger than ever in the yellow and black next year. fire up cogs. we need you back at your best!!!

No use trading him now. His value is too low. But when I started this thread back in 2005 ......... . He is never going to be right. We should have traded him back then.
 
Cogs is untradable now. We just hope he can get back and play half-decent footy. I fear it's all over for Cogs. He'll come back and play, but will never be the same again. Will be lucky to play another 50 games.

No way Coughlan would be traded. If we trade Coughlan we are going backwards, we need his type and there would be no one to replace him and no one is worth getting for him.

You're not thinking constructively. Cogs will never be the same so we'll effectively be down a player on the list. Sadly, Cogs is pretty much done and dusted.

Now is the time to stick behind the fella. He has showed so much loyalty to us, he had the chance to leave to head back home but chose to stay, now he is in probably the toughest par of his life, lets stick behind him and give him every chance to be a RFC premiserhip player :thumbsu:

Watched him play today for Coburg, I wouldn't trade him. He was vocal and showed leadership, which we have been roundly panned for this year. Great to see him get some kicks and get dumped and get back up.

He could end up being a handy 5 minute per quarter impact player for us this year as his fitness develops, and as I mentioned the leadership is still there.
 
How old is he? Everyone is so negative in this thread. I thought he was aroud 24ish.
