Barlow one of the best on again apparently, id imagine another 110 plus game very solid. Silly waste of trades by some imo.

You can't compare him to other first year players because he's physically more fit than everyone else. He is the same age as Marc Murphy yet there are no threads about trading him out.

I bet your glad you with stuck with barlow, he cannot be traded.
In my opinion he is still worth trading for now, if you have a high priced under performer.

Both Pods and Barlow are worth getting now if missed. Its great to see VFL guys giving a good account of themselves.

I'm happy with Barlow's 151 too!
Barlow looks like he's not stopping.
To be honest though, this was something to think about and may have (still could...) paid off. You would have been a little too hasty if you traded him out this week though. You should have at least waited for his Break-even to approach 100.
At least now, we can have more certanty that he's better off in your team than trading up to a Montagna-Judd-Swan type.
By the way, these discussions I don't beleive are noob discussions, but strategic thinking that aren't the same all-bore strategy everyone seems to use.

with my 'top heavy' problem in mind, and barlow coming back from hamstring fever (nasty ailment that) i decided to throw him on the bench this week. bugger me he scores 150 - now im hoping someone pulls out sore lol.

You can also plug his known score into the salary predictions part of the player's site. I've noticed the live values can often have a few issues. FanFooty also does post-game prices and BEs for the following week that are generally more accurate (and easier to read), but quite often they don't update their pages until the next day. A bit late for Sunday games, for instance.

Ablett, Judd and Montagna are the only guys averaging more (Chapman should be on your forward line) if you don't have at least 2 of these guys you are not serious.
any trade for Barlow then has to be a major downgrade and you will never replace the lost points.
those without Barlow now as a keeper are still crying into their beers...

I reckon the worst one i seen was some poor sod trade out Hall for Riewoldt just before the round he did his hammy. Worst part was, to fund it, he traded out GAJ for K.Cornes.
