My training report from: http://csc.actebs.com.au/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=9655

No Fevola out on the track but he was at training. The injury group consisted of Judd, Jamison, Aisake, Thornton, Fisher, Bower and Anderson. First they did a few handball drills then moved onto that game where they stand in a line a person kicks it to you and you have to mark it. Then they did a few jogs. When they started Judd lead the group by a fair distance but after 100m you could tell he was slowing down and Thornton quickly run by him.

The main group first started off with the usuall handball and kicking drills but most of the session was dedicated to 'punching'. I think they're teaching the boys how to defend

It was rather funny watching this because they used to specky bags to do this, some players can really fly high, like Sheilds.

Speaking of Sheilds, I think he has improved compared to last week. He spent some time with Setanta. He made a mistake but the boys went up to him and patted him and told him it was alright which was nice to see. While everyone was doing their warm down stretches, Sheild, Teague and Ratten went aside and helped Sheilds out. Teague was kicking it to him and Ratten was showing him how to kick.

The group split into 3 groups and the backline was down the end I was and they continued to do the punching drill. Interesting to note that Simpson was in that group. I found that rather odd.

Ratts took the rest of the team and they were doing some random game day drill. And for once I have seen a Carlton coach stop a drill to tell the players what they're doing wrong and how it should be done.

A note on Cloke, he has lost weight as has Stevens. Most of them now look like tanks, guys like Walker, Bentick, Murphy and even Gibbs is starting to fill out. We will be a much stronger/tougher side next year.

You can tell that Judd is upset about not being able to do full training. Aisake spent most of today with him and you can tell he didn't want to leave him alone. After training, when they all go for lunch he was hanging out with Murphy and a few of the young brigade. Looked good seeing that. When he finished doing his bit he didn't walk off the ground or anything, he walked over to the main group and watched them with Lappin and Ratten. Can't wait until his training with the main team and either can he.

The new fitness coach looks the goods too.

Sorry had to make this short, I have an exam in 3 hours that I havn't studied for. I'll add more in when later on and if there's any questions.. ask away.

Thanks heaps for that blusgirl23, have been trying to look at your write up on the other site and couldnt access it for some strange reason:cool:
The more i hear about juddy the more excited i get, he just sounds like pure class! Imagine how much murph would be learning off him already and its only MOVEMBER(yes i have a very ordinary looking handlebar moustache, not exactly killing it with the ladies). Good luck with those exams, study quick:thumbsu:

Thanks for the report. Very much appreciated, as it is difficult for me to get there with work committments. However, it was good to hear Judd on SEN this morning saying that he should be back into full training after Christmas. Gives him almost 3 full months to get some solid running into his legs.

As long as he is not rushed back!

I couldn't find Hampson in any of the pictures, did he train today?

Anyone know what his story is?

He came out about half way through the session and started training.

Also Hadley didn't train but when I got there I saw someone walking to the pool and I think it was him.

For anyone wanting to know, training is at 9:30 on Thursday.

Did you see which group (back or forward) Setanta trained in BG?

I'm hoping back.
