Who'd be the one to forfeit their spot for Anderson though HBF?

I think you've proably got about 19-20 that you would pick in your best 22. The other couple of spots would be determined by form, injuries and team balance.

Not sure that you could name players AWG, but I really think he could play a bit of senior footy this year.

We finished on bottom last year so it shouldn't be too hard to find him a spot if his ready to go this year..
Also although he has played senior footy last year it was only in a minor league that is a lesser standard then some country leagues so we can't go expecting too much from him.

See,i like Carrazzo, i think he hasn't shown us his stuff yet. But perhaps you're right. Especially if Anderson has the skills to out-do Carrots.

I like Carrazoo too, don't get me wrong. But if we are to include someone, someone will have to make way for him. And I certainly wouldn't take out the likes of Gibbs, Simpson, Walker or Murphy, even Blackwell, for Anderson, unless their form demanded it. Carrazzo would be behind those other midfielders. Bentick would also be ahead of him. And I highly doubt Stevens or Scotland would be dropped, unless, of course they were injured or really down on form. Lappin may be the one to make way, but I wouldn't like to see that-not this season, anyway.

Wiggins is another one that may make way for Anderson.

But playing senior footy gives you the exposure of playing against bigger bodies, and possibly better players. I wouldn't call the league up in Darwin minor, and I stick by my statement that he would be further advanced in his development than someone like Grigg and Benjamin.

Yep.

It's coming round the corner!

This may be a stupid question, but are there "Games Threads' where people comment on the games, and how players played? Quite like people have been doing for training?

Or is it just that people post more comments about the group during the off-season, to keep everyone updated?

Better still AWG, jump on a plane or jump on the Ferry and come over for the game. Surely you don't want to miss Gibbs' first game in the Navy Blue jumper?

I absolutely agree with that, you just have to watch the TAC cup boys come back and play for their clubs in some of the better country leagues. Some just can't get a kick.

I, apparently, am full of "lunacy" for being "overly optimistic" on these boardes re: the team.

So ... i'm very glad that I'm not the only one on here who gets excited when they read training reports. :thumbsu:
You disagree with the fact your optomistic to the point of idiocy, yet you come down on others who choose to be realistic ?

Puh-Leaze:rolleyes:

Note: Please don't reply - i seriously cbf.

Ok C4, how about you find someone else to annoy?

Re-read my post. I even said i was stirring you. It was full of smilely faces. The only serious bit was "stop all this talk of tanking crap. even if you're joking." Again, if you fail to see smiley faces and understand that it was a bit of friendly banter, then you should re-read it again.

So not only am i a Luny now, but i'm also an idiot?

These comments towards me are ridiculous. Go and hassle someone else.

I could report you for personal attacks - you have no right to degrade my optimism, by calling it lunacy and idiocy.

Have you not read the warnings about not attacking people?

Actually, you're comments to me are ridiculous.

Since when was supporting your club, and having faith, and being excited a crime?

I didn't realise that having a smile on yoru face, and writing excitedly meant that you were reaching heights of lunacy and idiocy.

I can't see Anderson getting a game ahead of Carrazzo unless Carrots plays like a dog. I've always been big wraps for him. Get him anywhere near the ball and he's a dead set magnet. If he can work out his disposal he wil be a very important piece i think.

That said though, if anyone just isn't performing (there wil always be a few players) it will leave the door open to give opportunity to players like Grigg and Anderson to get their spot in the side. Can't wait to see how the season unfolds.

You remind me of someone at work - who was actually excited about WorkChoices I'f you'd bothered to read my posts directed at you - it wasnt about you being "excited and optomistic" it was about you coming down on me for voicing a realistic opinion (that we will still struggle this year) that didnt subscribe with your "overly optomistic view".

Infact, the sad part of it all was the fact that you couldn't even construct a decent footballing argument to counter my views - other than just dismissing it entirely. and bringing up some: "im short but i can wear heels crap" which had 0 relevance.

I know you've become a fan favourite around this forum as of late - you know because u copy and paste training reports and pictures from other forums and all - but you are a footy nuff nuff - when JD refers to the term "Lemmings" you are the prototype. The type of fan who pretends to know everything and disagrees for the sake of it - without ever having the knowlegde to challenge an opinion (in this instance - mine).

Um no.

I did not come down on you.

I disagreed with your opinion on, and reasoning for, wanting Kruezer.

A disagreement does not call for comments stating 'Lunacy and idiocy.'

A huh  Im not going to bother even arguing with you anymore.

I'll take this as a Knock Out Victory.

Haha. What a rabble. Carlton is self destructing and its supporters have to resort to bagging out a poor optimistic little girl. You are such a poor human Door. Shame, shame, shame.

You support Geelong - do you even constitute (look it up) as being a human ?

Remember .. you're only the product of incest.

That's called over stepping the mark here C4.
We all know that AWG tries to put a positive spin on things, and to be honest, after watching training last week, it's hard not to disagree with her.

Yes, we are in deep poo off field, but with some solid on field performances over the next 18 months, i'm sure our off-field dramas will greatly improve.

C4 is allowed his opinion and is well within his right to challenge AWG and her comments… it’s been semi constructive so far (opposite views) so let it be.

Any action by mediators on this thread now is an over reaction.

My thoughts for what it’s worth.
