And you'd be right!! :)

Straight off the Crows web site

"There will be a running and conditioning session at the Adelaide Uni grounds on Monday, January 28."

So its basically 'nathan van Berlo wins everything day' then :p

Oh and training is at the Uni Grounds on Monday, so not much point in me going then.

I'm so annoyed. The one time over this summer that I do not have to be at work and it's a training day for the crows but they are just running around in circles etc. :(

It's a pity their training schedule has worked out this way, a public holiday and they would have got a pretty good crowd to watch training. A whole lot of people that normally couldn't watch training would probably have made the effort to attend. That last couple of training sessions on the oz day holiday I have been able to see and I can safely say they got a pretty decent crowd watching.

How is Moran going?

Brad Moran: Relatively new to the game of AFL, Moran joined Adelaide's list from the Kangaroos. Having completed every session to date, Moran seems to enjoy the environment of the Club and fits in well. I think he's been going ok, his skills are a little rusty and his decision making is not the sharpest. He has the capabilities to improve and I feel he will benefit from some time in the SANFL.

I wrote some stuff on our new recruits on page 1 of this thread, there's the bit about Moran ^

I'd say Sellar's improving attitude has more to do with his being put back into the SANFL reserves. Admittedly from an outsiders perspective, Pfeiffer & Sellar's problems are very different. Sellar comes across as far too arrogant regarding his ability, which can be a good thing, before it leads to a sense of deservedness and laziness. Pfeiffer is a trouble maker off field and doesn't have his head on straight. The only time that affected his ability to play the game, is if you believe that he was a culprit in the incident where he got punched in the head.

If anyone has the time to go down to this training session it would be greatly appreciated. I would be really interested in seeing what times some of the boys do for their time trials & other runs etc. as the newspaper never really give a good indication. It would be good to know things like how far has Sellar improved and what times are VB, Burton, Gallman & Curnow doing compared to Judd's time trials.
So if anyone is interested in going there you would definitely have 1 happy supporter here:).

what time is the training run tomorrow? i know it's at the adelaide uni ground, but all the website says is "here will be a running and conditioning session at the Adelaide Uni grounds on Monday, January 28" ... i'd like to see the times they're doing for the 3kms, though i'd assume it's early in the morning, since the BOM forecast is fine & sunny, 30.

C*G fantastic work. Absolutely outstanding!:)
Definitley going to be disapointed when you go back to school.

Im ready for footy can't wait till it comes back!!!
Young guns are looking good.
Can't wait till there chances:)

Driving through to the cricket this morning I drove past Thommo, Radar and VB driving in convoy only to go past the Uni playing grounds just to see Moran finishing his time trial (or at least it looked like Moran, it may have been Kite?)

Harsh to have your teamates change and leave before you've even finished!

Thought you might like some info from this morning's runs. Brett Burton led the way in the 3km, going out hard and holding on to record 9:36 (equal PB) just a couple of seconds ahead of VB who I think may have also beaten his PB. Ed Curnow was a little bit behind in third, followed by blokes like Gallman, Knights, Reilly and Shirley. The club doesn't release full details of times but I there were several PBs. In the Goodwin run, Thommo and Reilly seemed to be the last pair standing.

This is sensational

Birfman is in for hopefully an injury free year, playing as a forward he would be a very hard match up, he will be the crows 50+ goal kicker

The young midfielders are really stepping up, VB, Radar, Knights could all be in for best seasons yet

Many thanks for the info!! :thumbsu:

Ah, so you're one of those people.

Chris Judd is a great player, he just not as great as alot of people make him out to be.

No point in comparing time trials anyways seeing as he's still completing rehab for his injuries. I hear he did very well in some of his time trials - and he's not even completely fit. I think he's every bit as great as people make him out to be. ;) The man is a freak!

Any chance of revealing if Jimmys fitness is improving (obviously as indicated by his running times).

When I see a player like Andrew Mcleod break the pack and run at goal its inspirational.

When I see Chris Judd do it, not so much.

He has no heart, he isn't a true footballer, its no more than a job to him.

You can see it in the way he plays, its mechanical, like a robot.
