I agree with ODN.

I appreciate AWG's enthusiasm, but her C&P all of these training reports is best left to links and similar to everyone C&P Mojo's intellectual property onto BF against his wishes. I had a great "argument" with CrazyQ aka F/D in an effort to get Mojo's report off the Kangaroos board.

I've been reading this site for a while now, and do appreciate
the postive feedback you guys create.:thumbsu: Tis the reason i jointed:D

I've heard on more than one occasion that he has quite the thumping kick on him. With the departure of Bear and Harts almost certain to hold down a place in the senior side in '07, could he be our new 'WOOOF!'?

Hartlett also played a fair bit of junior footy at CHF and was very effective. He has all the attributes of a good CHF (i.e. 195cm, excellent overhead, and a huge kick), but he'll debut as a KP defender I suspect. What is amazing about our list now, is that 2-3 years ago, our lack of height was a serious issue, especially in defence. Now we have Setanta (200cm), Thornton (193cm), Bower (194cm), Flint (192cm), Hartlett (195cm) and Austin (194cm) to choose from. One of the matchups I'm looking forward to in 2007 is Setanta V Fraser. :)

I wouldn't call that a match-up. Setanta will cane him.

Funny you mention this Parrot because at training last week, Hartlett was a member of the forward group and not the defenders.

The Wildcard is Jake Edwards - his versatillity (dating back to his Western Jets under 18 games) was sublime - playing both FF and FB.

I wonder what we are grooming him as ?

What's anyone's throught's on Joe Anderson playing the most games for the 2007 season (except 4 Gibbs), out of the draftees, given the size of the kid? "Reports was the kid would run through a brick wall"

IMHO, I really think that Joe could play quite a few games for us this year. Has had quite a bit of senior footy exposure up in Darwin, and this should serve him very well in his development.

FWIW, I think he could play 10+ games this year.

I completely agree C4. Personally, I hope he plays in the forward line. His physique reminds me of Fev's and he is very quick!!

Out of all our recuits i am excited about Joe Anderson. Reading the reports on him, and some reports from 2 years ago, there is somethinhg abvout him. I have a strong feeling we have something special here

My Opinion is he is like a Macka or Deano type player, hard of the back line? and strong tackler hitting packs hard.

Joey's got attitude and talent to back it up. Said he's mainly a running rebounding defender, but I was wondering if he could play a Mark Williams type role in the forward 50. :)

We could definitely use player like Williams. What’s his kicking like? And can he kick footy from outside 50m? Like our fev?:thumbsu:

That's a big call WTB.
Probably runs and creates a bit more than both of those guys.

That's true, and it's not really doing him any justice by comparing him to the others.

Let him develop into his own sort of player, and we can compare people to him.

I'm excited by Joey, but he has lots of work to do yet.

IMO, he'll play around 5 games for the year.
