NicNat is a an average at best footballer, he is so rarely in the play it's like playing with 1 man down during play. He competes very well at centre clearances, but that's it. Centre clearance taps rarely give an advantage, around the ground ones are the important ones to win.
Cox is in good touch though so Jolly would need to be in good nick but he has a good record against him.

Wow...just...wow!

For a bloke that is rarely in the play he averages more disposals this year then Jolly EVER has in his whole career.

His marking is also on the improve, albeit still a minor part of his game, and he averages just 0.7 less marks a game then Jolly this year.

I could continue on but I suspect you'll still maintain your ignorant views.

Jolly has missed half a season. You can't compare this year's output.

I don't agree with rosejam though, NN is a wonderful talent.

Cool. Sure hope your players think the same! :D

For sure, Jolly's marking stats have been down. But Nic has clearly progressively improved in this manner. On disposals, you can use any year because Jolly has NEVER surpassed Nic's average this year.

We'll just leave it at that...

Yep Nic is a freak, will look great in a Pies jumper

Agreed - but NN is averaging more touches this season than Jolly has in any year in his entire career

Something like this you'd think.

NicNat's an influential footballer and offers the Eagles something pretty much no other side has.

Reid's injury is very worrying for us. I suppose they can't go with the 'if it was a final he'd play' line this week.

We will really have to be up and about tomorrow.

Jolly has never been an "accumulator" as a ruckman. It isn't his go.

Doesn't make him any less of a player though. We had Josh Fraser for years who probably averaged more touches than most ruckman in the comp but was shithouse for what we actually required.

What Jolly offers is strength in the contest, beautiful marking around the ground and most importantly goals as a ruckman.

You can pretty well pick any ruckman at the same age and Naitanui stacks up well. IMO better.

Stats aside, by AFL standards he's regularly impacting games.

I'm not trying to put down Jolly, more just suggesting that rose jam is incorrect on this matter

Pretty much fair comment apart from the 200th. Would that really make a difference in a game as important as this?
I think it can make a difference if Collingwood is not performing at their best. Remembering a milestone might realistically help produce their best, even in such an important match. Alan Didak has been very loyal, and has always wanted to be a one club player, and I'm sure his teammates will be aware it's his 200th match at certain times during the match.
For what its worth I think that the Pies will win but not by as much as a lot here are thinking. Looking forward to the game.
There are always people that think their team is going to win by a lot, and I think we would too at full strength, but that's not the case at the moment. I think Collingwood should still win though, but the margin is hard to predict due to last weeks form of both teams and the personnel queries.

Was Witts and Hartley There?

I don't recall them outside but saw them in the gym later training with Anthony Rocca...( Witts makes Rocca look like a dwarf lol )...IMO, Witts is partially the reason Leigh Brown retired. I don't care what posters say in the Witts thread, I am very excited.

As for the rest Cloke, BJ, wellers, Jolly all moved well...most impressed with Dawes marking..now if he can just repeat that gameday!

Just got the $1.95 for us for the flag I have been waiting for at half time of the Geel/Haw game. Then Franklin goes down we are back to $1.85. Timing is everything. Our preliminary final just opened up beautifully for us.
