I only saw Nicholson briefly a few times. Didn't spend a whole lot of time watching the backs. He spent a bit of time in the forward line group as well. He seems like he is still finding the position he might best fit in. To me looked a little overawed by the fact he was at an AFL club still, but thats not neccessarily a bad thing. In the game simulation stuff he looked like he knew where to go, and definately looks like he could be a good prospect for 2 or 3 years.
Davey I didn't see much of at all. Can't really comment on him.
Sylvia looked good from what I saw. Looks fit, fresh and ready to go. Everytime I have been to watch the boys train Sylvia is always the one at the back of the group telling a joke to someone else, or generally just piss farting around a bit. He knows his role, he knows how to play it, and he takes the drills seriously, he just has the attention span of a goldfish when it comes time to listen. So it's hard to make a judgement on that side, but like I said, that hasn't been limited to this training session. But when he focused on the drills he was the same Col. Running hard, finishing well, and just being Col. We don't really need any improvement from Col, just consistency and less injuries.

A big difference between performance on the track and performing at AAMI on Feb 11, but we should be in for a ripper season
