Key thing for Will is that he got through the year without any major injuries - that's the first box ticked, now he needs to show that resilience again and step up a level. He needs to really dominate at the VFL level and demand an AFL games - reckon he's got some weapons and could play the Howe role.He does look to be in two minds a lot with ball in hands but Hopefully that's just a lack of continuity. I'm just excited to have KP depth next year
Clean slate and fresh start, let’s hope they all put the work in. Repetitive injuries are usually a sign of poor training habits. Can't wait to see how the team shapes up during the pre season, we have so many tactical options up our sleeve now that weren't available to us ladt year.

You just wait until the next few weeks when others came back early then posters here start saying that everyone else who hasn't come back is not fully committed.I love the hype around veterans "coming back early". Whilst it might be a leadership decision, there would also be a fair amount of self-interest - "training with the boys is a lot easier and a lot more fun than slogging it out on my own".
That’s why I’m here. Can’t have these fair-weather, in-season only BigFooty posters setting the standard for the board. I’ll pump up the likes and you can set out the memes. You just wait until the next few weeks when others came back early then posters here start saying that everyone else who hasn't come back is not fully committed.
^This 100x. Everyone is different, and some need more down time than others, be it for their physical or mental health, or both. I’ll never understand why some posters will try to lay in to players for actually using their full allotted holiday time to take a break. I’d bet any money that those same posters would never dream of going back to work early from their own annual leave. You just wait until the next few weeks when others came back early then posters here start saying that everyone else who hasn't come back is not fully committed.
Darcy copped that last year especially.
I'm pissed off that they're not all back earlier than early. Bloody Nick Daicos is clearly getting ahead of himself. Seen nothing of him.You just wait until the next few weeks when others came back early then posters here start saying that everyone else who hasn't come back is not fully committed.

Transition period of a training year is as important as preparation or competition. Players need to take a break. AFL standard footy is tough on the mind and body. We really don't need any players getting burnt out in Round 17 because they didn't have time-off.^This 100x. EfaI don't want to be alarmist, but we've got our captain, one of our all time greats in full kit. A Brownlow medallist in full kit. Meanwhile, Nick swans in in civvies and has the audicity to be smiling about the fact that he's turned up early and relaxed...
yup, some said it wasn't setting a good example lol
Pendles is the much hated union worker who goes way too far above expectations and makes everyone else look shit. Was he back late? Or just not early? That’s wild haha. He’s probably cursing Pendles right now. Lol.
Just not early, given he is a senior player he wasn't required. A number of senior players tend to start early, he was just not one of them. Given his injury history, give him all the time he needs as long as he stays on the park. Was he back late? Or just not early? That’s wild haha. He’s probably cursing Pendles right now. Lol.
Any specific reasoning?So.. I think the one to watch this pre-season is Arlo Draper -- :O
