Any specific reasoning?
Hasnt taken a break this off-season. Has stayed in melbourne and trained everyday. Will be fitter and stronger when pre-season starts. I think he is in for a big summer.

His first full pre-season, I reckon he will take the next step.

Harrison is another I'll be paying attention to, hopefully his injuries are behind him.

Hamstring or glute you reckon? Surely not back?!?

Looking forward to seeing how both Arlo Draper and Harvey Harrison go in 2023
Harvey was a tad unlucky this year.. was about to debut before covid hit him, and then had his hammy issues once he got form back.

I think both of these boys would have been a chance of debuting last season but for injury, Harrison has some real pace and arlo with his shoulder injury behind him I think can make first,s next season and both Draper and Harrison are big lads and no go home factor.

Good picks both of them where we were able to pick them at particularly Arlo who would have gone higher no doubt.

Yeah, Arlo was behind the pack even in last pre-season because of his injury in his U18 year. Didn't have fitness required for most of the year and with that, loss of confidence. So getting fit before his real first pre-season will help his 2nd year. He was highly rated before drafted and I think we'll soon see why that was the case.

Harrison is very highly rated in the club. Has some power, pace and is a bull at stoppages. Can kick goals. Will end up a mid-forward. His injuries this year has stopped us from seeing what he is capable of, but he is a big boy and only turns 19 in a couple days.

I love this. I think it shows real maturity and determination for someone of his age. He’s clearly aware that you’ve only got a small window of opportunity to make it at this level and he’s doing everything in his power to achieve it for himself. Plenty of others would have taken their break and hoped for the best.

I really hope he has a sensational year. His attitude and work ethic is certainly an asset.

Thinking the same. Good size about them both.

Carmichael another one that should benefit from his first real pre-season. Same for Begg who will be one season on from his shoulder reco.

I really like a lot of what Begg offers, just struggle to see where he fits within the game - wonder if we could look at modelling him on the way that Mark Blicavs plays

Just had some film of a few of the boys training today.

JDG was there and looking a million bucks

Others there included Adams, Hill, Josh Daicos, Pendles, Ginni - I think a dozen or so

Video evidence or it didn't happen haha

My expectations are for MacRae, Draper and Reef to take the next step this year. HH when he was fit went missing too much for mine, but might just be delayed fitness ala Draper who started to prove me wrong late season.

Kelly has the build and tools but lacks the footy IQ (some of his brain fades are painful to watch), and that can be a hard quality to coach in. Don’t shoot me but I still want to see him move forward.

I’ve got a gut feel Titch is going to go ballistic and recapture some of his early career form. Unfinished business.. and Goo to step up as a result. That’s an extremely powerful 1-2 punch in the middle. Especially w TA rotating through.

Keen for preseason tix to the Bobby & Ginni show too 😍. I can envision attending a lot more training sessions and VFL games in my near future.

Excited about the refreshed dynamic of the group.

Go Pies!

I wouldn't judge HH too harshly in his first year. He started off real explosive, up for selection. Then got covid which set him back 6-8 weeks. Once he was back to fitness and the effects of that, he did his hammy. Then a game or two back from that did his hammy again ending his season.
