Appears to me Jake Bradley has traveled with the club to GC as well. Also noticed another boy (looks to be indigenous) who has been around the club however is not listed (I'm certain of this) with the club up there. Anyone know anything on this?
Check out the Kym LeBois interview, I was wondering the same on who that was (looks familiar) with the 3 of them running the boundary.

The young lad appears in LeBois' interview on the website at 1:04 in the middle of Walker and SPS. Can also be seen in the same interview running next to LeBois at 1:10. He was also on Carlton's Instagram story today training with Jake Bradley on the GC. You know who he is?

Yup, no idea. Possibly an early next gen candidate for 2018?

From the Northern Knights:

Ethan Penrith played in all bar one TAC Cup game for the Northern Knights this year. Possessing a 2.94 20 metre sprint, Penrith staked his claims for a place on Grand Final Day with an electrifying performance in the U17 Futures Match where his clever footwork dazzled the eyes of recruiters. Penrith has recently been identified by Carlton as part of the Next Generation Academy program, a new initiative created by the AFL, to increase the participation and opportunity for indigenous and multicultural footballers across the country.

Some might even suggest he moves like a panther.

From that video I thought it was interesting that there was no mention of weitering when taking about the back line.
I have a feeling Marchbank and White are being deliberately paired because they're occupying the 3rd and 4th KPD spots. White probably has the best read on the 3rd defender spot and is passing on whatever knowledge he has to Marchbank.

Marchbank is better suited to a key position than 3rd tall. Weitering is also shown in the video playing down back.

Weiters and Plowman are our best suited 3rd talls, both can play key back though (moreso Weiters). Macreadie at his peak potential could be the best of the lot for that role.

He'll mostly likely play in a third tall role in his first year here. He doesn't have the size to play as the first defender and probably needs some experience before shifting spots. Plus players rotate a lot anyway.

White's also got more defensive experience than Rowe and is probably seen as a decent mentor.

Thanks mate. Have heard his name mentioned before. Does this mean we have rights on him as academy clubs have rights on their 'products'? Looks to be good initiative of the club's.

He played in the u17 all stars game so he's a chance to get picked up. If nobody takes him then we might be able to get him as a rookie, though I haven't seen our 2017 list of eligible players. At the very least we get some good insight on a potential draftee like we did Gallucci. I watched a replay of that U17 game a while back and thought he was an okay prospect. To be fair, I was pretty bamboozled by not knowing anyone but Worpel, Spargo and Hayes etc

I think you're reading too much into the White mentoring. We all understand what type of player Caleb is but the White connection may just be a defensive team thing, not a like for like positional thing.
