Oh man, thought they were all closed sessions until Saturday.

Anyone know when they are training at Sharks again?
ODN, maybe tomorrow but more likely Friday and then Sunday.
Monday they trained at Sharks
Tuesday was the beach session and then the wife saw them in the Sharks Gym.
Wednesday back on the field at Sharks.
The wife works at Sharks and looked after them for Lunch last year but the whole deal this year seems less public. Mind you there seemed no problem with walking down to the fence for a few photos and sticky. Just not that many people there.

Yeah, not sure what happened there. made me think what I was doing in 2007 though. Of course I can't remember that far back.
Someone may have used it to take a shot of our 2007 team training and the poor ******* thing just powered down from acute apathy and shame.

Thanks Mr.Jones..keep the reports coming. Please comment on the young fellas if you get the chance to look at them.

Appreciate your efforts..we have been starved down here..
Hey Drake, when I got there they were just finishing match Sim and came in before I could pick out the first year players.
From then on while other drills were being run the new recruits were either doing boxing drills or on the bike for the rest of the time I was there.
Didn't see SPS but would have to say Polson has some swagger and he probably doesn't even know it. Just looks like a really assured young man. Same with Fisher they both get around like its business as usual. Hopefully I can get to see some more of the newbies on Friday.

Big thanks for the reports. Don't agree with the club's policy. But clearly they don't want anyone to know what's happening at training. Great that they can't do much about it up at the Gold Coast.

Appreciate the reports guys and look forward to many more during the pre-season to keep us excited for next year.

Pleased to hear about Fisher and McKay theres something about those 2 that I like without seeing much from them. Pleased to hear Jaksch having a crack and he looks focussed in the photos, it's all above the shoulders with KJ hes a great athlete and a superb kick for his size lets hope the pennies dropped.

I get it but it is a little frustrating.

Probably reflects the little guys belief that every tiny advantage helps.

I just hope they put a reasonable side out in the pre-season match at PP. I think that fixture is important .

there are no other teams worthy
Will post some photos soon, Bolts bailed me up to make sure I wasn't recording an footage and to make sure it was just photos. Little man has some authority in his voice, I was ready to go and sit in the naughty corner.
Thanks for the reports.
Funny Bolts checking up.
Just wondering what he would do if you actually were recording some video footage.
Not much he can do surely ? , except ask that you don't.

If they are in a public place, there's nothing the club can do besides ask nicely and accept it if the person filming refused. If it's private land, they'd have ground to eject you from the premises I imagine.

Going to go out on a limb and say it's private land, which I'm guessing makes taking images or recordings without consent illegal under the surveillance act (not sure how the QLD version of that rolls, but it would be illegal in Victoria, which is apparently slightly more liberal than NSW).

Bolts gave consent though by ensuring/requesting no video.

Just went for a quick peek on the beach, but doesn't seem like the boys are down there this morning (unless they're already done and dusted). All I saw was perfect beaches, perfect bodies and perfect waves.

::sigh::

It's a tough life.

Dunno if it's been mentioned before around here but i noted in Denis' Q&A on the twitter that he mentioned the most impressive pre-seasoner's so far as Murph(good to see), Charlie and Jack, both training thru the midfield & up forward(good to see) and Pickett(great to hear he must be doing some substantial training already).

Mentioned Pickett is setting some great standards on and off the track.

I am by nature not overly liberal with my excitement levels JAB. And with good reason around Princes Park for my lifetime on BigFooty.

But there are green shoots my man...look...over there..over there...and over there.

Considered planning - the greatest short cut to success.

Loving the additions of young quality talls and exciting pace the last 2 drafts and trades.

We've been playing over compensated plodders and blonks for way too long.

We really need the addition of pace (Pickett,SPS, and Cunners mainly). Murph, Gibbs, Ed and Crippa seems to be our go to 4 atm, but it makes North's midfield look zippy.

Pickett is our most important recruit i reckon. If he stays fit. And performs to his junior level. ****.. we'd have accelerated the rebuild a full year almost in his acquistion alone.

Everyone on here is begging for another top 5 mid over the next two seasons... we may have just got one for chanhe
