Stefchook You can tell dablues that the skinny kid gliding over the ground was Silvagni.
It was a good day for young SOS. Some of his leaping marks in front of his body, belied his frame and age.

Just quietly..................................I think we may have a good one here.

Just on the new draftees and I know it's early but it wouldn't surprise me should all 5 be best 22 in a couple of years time.
That may be because they're very good, or maybe even because we just don't have many good players but we have not had our draftee quota all looking capable of their own tricks before and in particular, so early in the piece.

Weitering, Curnow and Cuningham have all looked capable of playing games this year and McKay and Silvgani also have some intriguing abilities.
Too early to say we've nailed the draft but at this very early stage........................it's looking pretty good.

Being best 22 is a start and I think he'll tick off that box.
I don't think Bolton will be discouraged for what the way he has come back from having his hips shaved.

As I said last week. It's not just his speed and balking abilities but he genuinely moves the ball to advantage, very briskly......No, you're not trippin'

He was always an astute pick up I feel.

Boek said in a recent video he's trying to get a role as an inside mid.

That's great to hear. I know a lot of people had him pegged as a ball carrier, wing, Brad Hill type, but I'm glad he's not taking that path.

He did, didn't he?

Took clean possession of ball at stoppages today but to be fair the heat (opponent heat) wasn't really turned onto full blast.
I can sort of see it and he did fare well at times in the VFL last year........but I just can't see it all the way through yet...........Docherty though.........

Bolton does seem to have done the clean slate thing and many have been given their chance at stoppages but to date........Cripps......Gibbs.................

Without wanting to blow my beans entirely over the mustacheod marvel, if he can become a midfielder who works the inside he'll be able to do that, as well as outside run, as well as line breaking.

Just to top it off (apart from that memorable hanger last year) he hasn't really shown his marking ability, which he certainly has as well.

........getting way ahead of myself, must be January.

Any players in particular that don't usually do stoppage work?
I don't think you can make a call on who may be used but many have been rotated through and in todays instance Kerridge, Graham, Curnow and Whiley weren't involved whilst Thomas didn't even front up.

Having said that though Boekhorst, Smith and Byrne are the ones that have looked good for a few weeks now.
I am a little surprised that I haven't seen Docherty heavily involved yet...........but then again........we don't watch training 5 days a week.

Wright has looked best in full ground drills and I think that's when we'll find out who really fits into the 'Bolton' way best.

February is the month.

It was interesting to hear him say in his video on the blues website that hes working to become an inside mid.
