What expectations do you guys have of Shane Tuck? Is he likely to get as much TOG as last season? Will he see himself playing in the reserves by round sixteen if your season is shot to bits, or is his job security as safe as houses after resurrecting his career in 2o1o?

Tuck is pretty much the only mature body we have in the middle to lump the load onto Cotchin and Martin at this early stage in there careers wouldn't be fair and one would think not good for the longevity of there careers.

Tuck had a very good season and did well in our B&F, so unless things go dramatically wrong for him in 2011 I see him playing all 22 games regardless of results.

PS: Whats the interest btw?

Didn't know where to post this but an observation from those roar vision christmas videos - McGuane, Edwards, King, Post and Lids are all looking pretty big. Even Dan Connors who is the interviewer has got a nice set of guns. I know we've only had a full time weights coach for a couple of years now, and it pays.

I'm pretty sure his position is secured. The only times he's ever gone out of the side was when we had a new head coach who didn't know what do with him (and rumours say a certain assistant coach gets in their ear). As soon as they get to know him he's straight back into the side.

I was thinkin the same thing.

The major knock on McGuane has always been his size. Lets hope he can hold down FB this year.

Has anyone got any reports on how Troy Taylor is progressing in training since his return to Tiger land?

Whilst 2010 was disrupted for him with a couple of non-football related issues, what I have seen of him suggests he could be the X factor player we have been screaming out for.

Seems to be strong overhead, has pace, goal sense and the ability to place defensive pressure on opposotion players in the foward half.

Impressive from Jakobi as a first year rookie. Especially seeing as he's had foot injuries in the past (IIRC).

You can see Casserley and Keddall in the photos too. Conca has a beard!

Yeah i thought he wouldn't be running. He's on a restricted program isn't he?

Interesting that in the 2nd group, it seemed to be the talls. Astbury, Vickery, Benny, Post, etc, but then Browne and Big D were running with the first main group.

There's a video of the run on the heraldsun website.

According to Bruce Matthews, Foley "hasn't played in a couple of years"
