nice work.
Matty, for a guy who is very quick over a sprint, is not too bad over the tan distance either. Jacko normally is the first over the line, isn't he?

Jacko has been or still is injured. And yep, he's been leading the trial runs for the last couple of years.

If it doesn't work, try Facebook. Video is there

I did. Same thing occurs on facebook, at the same stage of the clip. If I heard nothing the entire clip I would assume it was just me - but that I do hear something, THEN don't when the presser starts, has me wondering... Anyway, if you say it's ok, then I'll trust you.

And the coaching staff were delighted to see a leaner Jack Riewoldt among the early finishers to the gut-busting first test of the new year.
Riewoldt has shed kilos to become more agile in a bid to play further up the ground this season.
Why the hell has Riewoldt shed kilos when he just got to a semi acceptable standard (93kg) which enabled him to compete against most defenders? If anything he should be adding a few more. Why the hell would you move him from FF where he excels with his reading of the flight and contested marking to further up the ground?

It's the Herald Sun so could be rubbish but if true, a very dumb decision.

Agree. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
It's not like we have a reserve of KPPs lining up showing form to push him out either.
Baffling.

Just read it came from Hardwick.
"He's down to about 90 (kilos) now. He came in at 93 and probably got a little bit heavy towards the end of last year," Hardwick said.

93 kg too heavy for a KPF.....You kidding me. :o

It's like Richmond coaches lose all sense of logic.

Completely agree. Rather than move him up the ground, keep Riewoldt as our stay out home goal square behemoth. For that he needs to be at a good weight, I like to work on the theory height - 100, so for Riewoldt ideally we'd want him around 95kgs. There he can use his best assets, one on one contested marking and good conversion. Keep the running up to the wings for another leading mobile forward.

lol, I seriously thought he needed to put on another 3 -4 kgs.

Why are people so caught up in the weight thing?

The 3kgs he lost most likely would of been fat, just because you lose weight doesn't mean you don't become stronger, infact losing fat would make his core strength a lot stronger.

No doubt through natural development he will gain more weight, but that weight wont be fat, it will be pure muscle, unless of course we want him ending up like EFC soon to be new recruit Inglis. :o

Also would people say that Miller looks bigger and more ripped then Riewoldt?

Miller is listed at 193 - 94

Riewoldt is listed at 195 - 93

Barnz it's to do with the new interchange rules. Dimma said in the interview that all players are going to be able to cover the ground more and for much longer. While I was happy with the weight he'd put on too, it's not baffling as such. There is a pretty good reason for it. It's a changing game, the interchange rule will effect way more than people reckon I reckon.
