Keeping him and losing Lower was one of the darkest days of my life :(

similar to Broughton I really dont think Lower would have been playing much this year,Crieghton although not showing a hell of a lot thus far(partly due to injury)
must have something that the coachs think they can work on,one advantage is that he is only 20/21 compared with Lower 26ish ?? also Lowers kicking at times is not AFL standard

You might say he had a Lower skill level.

Pav, Sandi and Micky B all trained with the WAFL boys which means they won't be playing this week (unless the club pull a swifty). They all look in good nick and Mick didn't look like he had much of a problem with his face. Viv, Sutcliffe and Sheridan look like the emergencies/inclusion for Mick as they trained with the main group. Mundy and Mora were no shows although Mora was probably in the gym.

Ballas, Danyle, Zac Dawson and someone else I can't remember off the top of my head were off on their own doing a light session but they are alright. They usually have a couple off to the side doing a light session.

I'll leave a more detailed report for the other guys.

Please let it be Viv for Mick.

You would think we would go that in and under clearance type player since it looks like no Mundy or Barlow.

Great training session today folks. Apart from Mundy and Morabito, everyone else who is available was on the paddock today. Michael Barlow trained extremely well and looks fit to play with no swelling or injury scars to be seen, however he joined Pav and Sandi with the WAFL players later, which could mean that he is out of the side this week.

Viv Michie, Tom Sheridan, Matty Taberner, Lachie Neale and Cam Sutcliffe all trained with the main squad, which says to me that both Mundy and Barlow won't play. However, word is that 25 will board the kite today so don't be surprised to see both Mundy and Barlow fly over with the team.

I'm thinking Viv Michie and Cam Sutcliffe to come in will be the only changes.

Just on Sandi and Pav too, these guys are right to go and look amazing at training.

I wonder who will be on the big silver bird this afternoon?

Let us all be honest for a second also: Do you not think with someone named VIVIAN in the side it would not AUTOMATICALLY make us better? Because I do.

Vivian. Such a good name.

I usually think Sir Viv the master blaster:D

Could it be that Barlow was just doing extra training with the WAFL guys? You know, essentially do a double session to make sure that he is absolutely fine? I just don't see the point of him also training with the WAFL guys if he is not going to play football this weekend...

Yes, very much so as he didn't train on Tuesday.

If Micky B missed out on selection today it would be for purely precautionary purposes only as he didn't miss a beat today.

Yeah, I find Barlow's injury interesting because I recently snapped the radial bone in my arm (clean off) at the elbow. I had a plate and some screws installed and felt surprisingly fine. It hurt a little for about a week. But within a week I was able to most everything with no pain. My only problem was that I had no strength in the arm as they had to cut and re-attach the muscle. Obviously Barlow won't have that problem...
