Which borderline guys trained with the main group mate??

I see Neale and Michie with WAFL, Croz, Subes and Clancee a no show so their must have been a small group there of the main group.....

Just the guys who played on the weekend minus the ones mentioned as missing trained with the main group today. The WAFL players joined in on the match sims that was all.

The main group left the ground at 11.00am whilst the WAFL guys kept training.

I had a bit of a look today but didnt stay for the full training run as it didnt start till 10(and i got there at 8.45 thinking it was open training for the fans.......but that was yesterday)
Couple of observations
D.Pearce looked and sounded sick as dog and over heard him telling a trainer he was hammering the protein shakes on Sunday to ward off the lurgie.could explain his below par effort on the weekend.
Tabener and Crozier both looked to be suffering similar ailments
No sign of Clancy,Pav or Suban
Ballas was doing quite a few running exercises and moving reasonably well ,so agree with Harry the hammy must be on the slight side
Duffman moving pretty well and would expect return this week
Morabito seems to be moving pretty well and kicking over30/40 metres without any apparent discomfort.
light running session for the following ,Sandi,Walters,Mayne,Hannath,Ibbo,Barlow.not sure if they joined the main group later on ?
Asked one of the trainers to make sure Sandi wears some studs on his runners when he goes to the G

Theres no need for coulda to be russian to find a woman.

of course not - just look up a russian bride site and take your pick - easier than buying a shirt - just select one and hit enter (I presume you need to insert the details of an appropriately high limit credit card), and a few weeks later bride at your door.

I think if Clancee, Duff and Subes all come up we should win.
If two of them come up i still think we will, but gets tougher.
If only one then i think were in strife.

Just got back from training.

Just running laps today was Ballaz, Clancee Pearce and Mora.

Not sighted at training today was Nick Suban and Sandi.

Pav was spotted in the gym and did not venture out onto the ground at all today.

There were two groups as usual being the WAFL players and the playing squad, however they did merge for the match sims as usual.

Jesse Crichton, Lachie Neale and Matty Taberner all trained with the main squad today, as did Paul Duffield and Jack Hannath.

Had a quick chat to Clanger who said he was flying with the team but could not say if he was definitely playing or not.

Not much else to report other than Duff got an absolute bake by RTB for not running the ball out of defence when he had no one on him during the match sims.

So Hannath in for Sandi? Taberner in for Pav? Neale in for Ballas? Duffield in for Clancee?

We were leaning on the fence today when Ballaz stopped by for a quick rest right in front of us.

Bluey then asked him where Pav and Sandi were, to which he replied "They're too old to train" before running off again.

5 minutes later he came back, so I then asked him "Where's Subes?" to which he replied "He's another week" before running off again.

Yeah, makes sense. Every other calf 'niggle' we've had this year (been a few :() has been at couple of weeks, and that's normal. It would have been very strange if Suban got up this week.

Hey does anyone know if there's a main training session tomorrow?

Might bail on work and head down, last two times I went -

- The training sess last year before the home game against the Bulldogs which marked the start of our 9/10 winning streak, and before that;

- The training sess before the first game of 2010 which saw the start of our 9-2 record.

Think I might come down and blow some fairy dust Freo's way.

Being a Saturday game, training should be Tuesday and Thursday this week.

I'll be there so I hope the rain holds off until after training finishes.

Tuesdays of late have been quite light as the boys are still sore after the weekend. However if I jump the fence tomorrow they'll be even sorer as a few players need a good boot up the date after that performance.

Well I was planning on coming down for a bit before heading to the airport tomorrow but I have just been informed we are leaving for the airport at 10am instead of the 11am which was originally planned.

Are they training everyday?
I thought i remembered hearing Lyon say something about doing extra training sessions leading up to the finals(month ago)

Maybe they are struggling with the workload and this is part of the reason we have not looked that good ever since the mid season break.
Or maybe its just the players got ahead of themselves and each have just been easing off on the effort slightly and not doing what got us to where we are.
