We already have Keplar and Griffin on the LTI list. Plus for a game as important as this we're not going to make any risky changes.

Maybe Moller is going to get an upgrade and play against some GWS kids his own age next week. Give Zac a rest.

I wasn't suggesting he'd get a game this week but like caterina said, he might get a run in the next couple of weeks against a bottom of the ladder side. Either way it seems strange that we'd put Tanner on the LTI unless we were planning on upgrading someone.

The photo of Michie has me guessing that he has put on some serious build since preseason training especially through the core and legs . Salim you've seen him at trainining as much as anyone , do you agree or is it just the cameraman playing tricks because Spurr is no light weight and Michie looks to have
got himself not just up to his build but gone passed him .
Michie must be close to match fitness and build now .

Viv is bigger than Spurr. He has massive thighs (up there with Clancee) and is very stocky through the core. He is defo suited to the in and under midfielder role.

Ibbo has one hell of a booty. Viv is now hands down the most good looking Freo guy, soz De Boer.

Anyway, that's all I've got to add :p

My point is that with both Keps and Griffin on the LTI list I didn't think we needed another LTI to upgrade a player. Taberner is the only rookie who has been upgraded.

But it would ve very unlike Lyon to play someone like Moller against a side like GWS. Unless he really rates Moller (which I do). But I would much rather see Michie play first.

Tis a bit strange with Griff and Keplar already on the LTI list I thought we wouldn't need to shift Tanner to play a rookie.
Rookies off the tope of my head are Moller, Howson, Schloithe, Forster and Menegola (still knee injury).

Moller is well ahead of where I thought he would be. Has speed, jump and skills just needs more bulk.
He certainly will have more chances in the shorter term as a KPF given our ruck depth but has the skills for it - have not seen his kicking for goal yet. Guess he is a chance to maybe play one game against a lesser team in place of Clarke to give Clarke a rest before the finals and see how Moller goes.

Could see him as a being similar to Tyrone Vickery at the Tiges or even better another JLo...

I didn't know that both Keps and Griff were on the LTI.

Also, I don't necessarily agree that Ross wouldn't play him. He played Sheridan last year against Melbourne for a quarter and I think that he would think it is important for their development. If he thinks that Moeller is going to be a long term player, giving him a small taste of AFL football could well be on the cards. Especially if all he does is swap Taberner and Moeller.

I'm not saying it definitely will happen but I wouldn't be amazed if it did.

Forster is on the main list... the remaining 4 are the rookies.

The other thing is that Moller is pulling up sore after most WAFL games and missing the next week. His body needs to be carefully watched at this point of his career.

I think that our reporters tend to miss/avoid the mid-week training sessions concentrating on the Thursday/ Friday sessions instead. Mid week sessions can involve just a lot of laps without any "real" training such as match simulations.

So, after round 23 we are going to lock this thread?

I'll just go back and sit in the corner with my tin foil hat on, thank you!

I called in this morning & had a solitary experience observing the lads on the training field while my buddies were at home sat in front of the fire sipping nice cups of tea!!

Quite a good session, it didnt start to 10am & continued until 11.15 approx.

The warm up & first few drills were carried out under the instruction of the skills coaches. Ross then appeared onto the pitch carrying his own tactics board.

After this it was all half pitch game simulation work & shooting drills.

24 training with the main group & 8 of the regulars did fairly intensive running drills. This group included Hill, Ballas, Sanderlands, D Pearce, Johnston, Mzungu, Fyfe.

There`s someone missing but I fail to remember who it was.

Hasn't Schloithe been playing back at souths. His numbers look quite impressive. Is it possible he could perhaps be given a go with Clancee out and Ibbo looking 50/50 to return. What did those at training this week see is regards to which groups he was with?
