I would say about 200 people there today all cramped along the fence near the club rooms in order to get as close to the players as possible. We opted for our usual spot on the fence at the north west corner of the ground.

Being T1 (Training Session One), plus an open training session for the fans meant that the boys had a light run and a kick to kick and did nothing more.

Great to see a full compliment of players out on the track though including a few of the WAFL boys.

Sadly missing though was Garrick Ibbotson, however Clancee Pearce watched on from the doorway leading into the change rooms.

All Australian Michael Johnson's right calf was heavily strapped and he and Danyle Pearce were on light duties and trained away from the others. Also on light duties was Ryan Crowley whom jogged past us a couple of times and engaged us with a laugh and a smile as the BF watchers gave him a cheer or two as he jogged past.

I yelled out "Go Liverpool!" to which he replied, "Yes Go Liverpool!"

Not that I'm a Liverpool supporter, but Gaskin wasn't there so I filled in for him.

I saw Michael Walters kicking for goal on his right boot today, which is something Hilly often does at training.

At the end of the session Griff, Tanner Smith and Kepler came out for a light run.

For those wondering, Subes and Luke McPharlin trained fully today with no signs of any discomfort.

.

This is good.

I heard a few weeks back that Griff was well ahead of his recovery period and should be right for Preseason while I hadn't heard a skerick of info in regards to Keps.

Hope the cult hero stays on next year and recovers well... :( Have a feeling he may be cut.

Nawww you are a sweetheart Harry.

Didn't think Hill trained well today missed three clean disposals during match sims. RTB gave him a little talking too later on. Crowls looked a little proppy trained in the gym.....do taggers not train with the main group anymore??

Media contingent were there in force and obnoxious.....how's that ****head journalist wearing an eagles tie to a freo training sessions? That turd got heaps from the crowd anyway. Another seven reporter was quoting how there were "hundreds" down here in loud voice in her segway. When there were barely two hundred and fairly subdued at that.

Also saw Suma when I was at Culleys with a couple of the young kids, as he was walking past.....I tell you that man had a look of crazed wanton lust in his eyes for the pies in that display cabinet. Surely he will still be in Freo next year as our forwards coach!

Overall I'd say Freo players looked a little flat.

I'm not sure I agree on that. It was a short session but I thought it was at a pretty good intensity, especially in the early stages. There was a lot of goal kicking practice

Each to there own I suppose. To me there weren't many enthusiastic faces, they looked like they were just going through the motions. Granted though it was only a light session. Wish we could get down to see Thursday.

That is known as giving the opposition a false analysis.

Don't judge the players on an open session. They do sweet FA compared to the main sessions. The open training is basically a kick to kick before signing autographs.

Hi regulars.

Just got back from Denham this afternoon and very anxious to see the boys train. Is it on at Freo on Thursday? If so I'm a definite starter.

Cheers every one.
