Mega Thread TRAINING REPORTS

He just seems a little nervous and lacking confidence in the AFL at the moment.

I would love to see him after 50 AFL games though.

Agree. But he took a couple of big steps forward from his performance against Richmond. If he maintains that trajectory, Zac will be in for a sh!tfight for that ruck/forward spot in a couple of weeks.

It's not as if he is a rookie kid from the colts as he is 21 and played league for Central Districts last year in the SANFL.

Not sure exactly how this bit fitted in. Was saying that he has very good handballing skills from what I'd seen. Unusually good for a big fella.

Not as nimble below the knees as Griff, but good accurate hands after he grabbed the ball.

Zac is not slow, but it does take away a possible runner like Crozier/Sutcliffe/Michie.

You're providing some good support for Hannath as an informal buddy ;)

Zac isn't slow but he has a similar turning circle to the Indian-Pacific.

Hi Salim, I sat with Bluey and the old timers today. I missed you, but Bluey didn't. You going on Thursday?

No strapping what-so-ever on Morabito and he did not join in on the general skills at all. He and Nat Fyfe just ran laps together before doing some handball drills. It was strange watching Fyfey not participate in any of the match sims considering he is not injured.

I guess they have to practice without him as he won't be playing this weekend.

Mora then finished off the session with about 10 shots for goal 50 metres out on the western side boundary line, of which 8 went through the big sticks for a goal.

We all got a little aroused over that.

Mora only had a single bandage on his left knee . wasn't much just covered the knee cap

Michie was training the house down and is playing good footy if Hill not ready to go then Michie must play IMO.

The Eagles board have trademarked 'training the house down' - you owe them $1 every time you say it

IMO Hill won't play against collingwood as he was doing laps and not match sims but
that could change .
Ross will give him as much time as possible but he should not be
rushed and risk loosing him to a hammy .

Mother of God, again.

Why would they put him through match sims when he is in injury recovery and trying to get ready for Saturday night?

Yes, Ross will give him plenty of time, which we all worked out ourselves AND why he wasn't doing match sims.

It's a quad, not a hammy.
if you have to say it....., then you've clearly thought it.

I'll take the 5th.;)

Quad or Hammy so what .

The point being made is not to take the risk if he's a 50\50 chance of re injuring" the leg" and being out for a much longer time than if he is rested and given more time to recover .

But we already knew that! This is a board full of Fremantle, and football in general, tragics, We can join the dots and don't need spoon feeding.

Look, you're no doubt a great guy. But stop patronising us.

Please.

A lot of us hang on every word of the training reports because they are informative, witty and, without doubt, the best on BF.

So, if you are going to add something, at least make it worthwhile.

Faulks is running around in great shape and looks to have added another couple of kilos
he's looking to be doing all the right things for himself and the team.
Simpson was also at training and doing O|K
MJ very vocal today
IMO Ballas was doing all the drills but not as hard at it , he's looking a little slower and possibly still sore .
He maybe needing a break .

We've got the perfect back ups so he could be a sub or rested and be in better shape for Sydey

Sand in vag Quercus?

Mora looks like a monster..obviously spent two years pumping weights while he couldn't run too hard. can't wait to see him run out.

Physically everything is in proportion and the way he covers the ground when running its poetry in motion .
Bluey summed it up just right when he said he runs on top of the ground where Mundy pounds the ground its effortless.
