Glad to hear it, let's hope he bounces straight back this weekend.

Must admit I was (am?) feeling a little worried about his misses on the weekend. His reliability seems almost too good to be true and I just keep waiting for the bubble to burst.

Dont stress there plenty more bubbles where they came from for him !!!

Both Mayne and Crowls showed uncharacteristic flaws in areas which are normally their very strong suit. Both lapses impacted strongly at either end of the ground and did us no favours at all.

How true never thought of it that way, with Crowley it is expected but Mayne !!! never expect his radar to be that badly offf !!!

My theory is that Creepy does'nt tag left footers very well ,nothing to back it up ,just putting it out there.o_O
Maynes shots were on a sharper angle than what he is acustomed to,but yeah not his usual sharp shooting self

Anyone heading down tomoz? I'll drop in and report back here inbetween nappy changes and all that fun stuff  :)

Can't wait to have another look at Morra training. Can't wait to see him run out for Peel some time this season. Fingers crossed Freo before the end of the season too.

Are you going to bring the new bub :D

What was with Mayne on the weekend, unusual for him to miss such easy shots. We may have won had he shown his trademark accuracy.

Who knows, but one thing I thought of after the game was when was the last time that Mayne missed 2 set shots in a game? I mean he will miss 1 in 10 over a few games, and snaps here and there might miss, but back to back set shots?? It would have been couple of years ago when he had the yips badly.

Crozier was running laps. Looked very fit and able, but wasn't training with the main group during the coupla minutes I was there. He hung around for a while after everyone else went into the rooms chatting with someone? Webber?

Mayne stayed after kicking set shots. Didn't miss one.

So you were actually there from 10:43? You withholding important information from us!

Hi JMT, I'll be down there tomorrow. I turned up at training today only to see the boys have a light run before leaving the track early.

I was then told that training is on Wednesday and Friday due to the Sunday game.

Bluey counted 31 on the track out there today.

I got down there about 9.30 and Barlow was doing laps ,penance for his BOG against Sydney.:)

Simpson doing work with the main group and Hilly was doing some light running and transition work but all light stuff .

Dawson,Mcpharlin,Duffield and Spurr where messing about kicking short kicks and trying to put the balls all together in a pile real school yard stuff .:p

The rest where doing stretching exercises not much of anything just enjoying each others company

Hey guys. What time does the team train on a Friday ? I am coming over from Sydney this week and would love to catch a session

Hey Simmo, training per the norm is around 9:30 til 11:30. There may be some rehab laps just before 9:30 for the real anoraks. If you can make it, I recommend it. Gives you a neat lil insight into some of the mechanisms of the club, also the chance to see the kids busting a gut to get a game.

Conveniently ignoring Couldas attempt, which had been covered before.

But to the rest of you, it's starting to sound like a Mothers club creche.

I am a little concerned.

I'll head down tomorrow but I'm working Friday so I can't get down then.

Thanks Knees, I will be there for sure... I am a passionate Freo fan and this is the first week I have ever been to 2 games in a row !!! was right by Michael Johnsons final fling last week :(

Cheers Gaskin... It is Freo Oval right ? Not Subi ?

Not sure. It will most likely be at Freo but it may be at Subi. I'll ask someone tomorrow if I remember.
