Popped into training yesterday - most attended training session I've seen for a while.

Seemed to be doing some sort of match simulation with a bunch of witches hats.

Pavlich, Walters, Hill & Sandi no where to be seen.
Barlow, Fyfe, Duffield, Ibbo & Mundy the standouts for mine with D Pearce showing good signs.
Crozier & Sutcliffe both started well but seemed to tire a bit towards the end.
C Pearce kicking a bit off but otherwise solid.

Team was a bit scratchy after the half way point but RTB gave them a bake 3/4's of the way through the session and seemed to respond well.

McPharlin left training a little early but seemed more that they were managing him rather than cause for concern. Silvagni rolled his ankle at the end but unsure of the severity.

So I'm reading away and looking at the time the post was made and thinking what the hell is he talking about; what training ?
And then It hit.... FCS.

And there is a very big difference to trash talk and smack opposed to constant and utter bullshit that gets cried about when called out.

I'll see you in your stand and will really enjoy talking to you, Bluey and the boys down there where we can talk footy have a laugh out loud, enjoy the light hearted banter with tales
of past players.
Seeing those wonderful young guys run around training and preparing themselves for the next big game is enough for me .
I though I would enjoy doing this but no thanks there's more to life .

I'll back a bit of tough love and confrontation, it's a part of human interaction, but when it starts driving purple-hearted individuals, regardless of whether or not they satisfy your, or any body elses, preferred demonstration of erudition, then perhaps it is time to consider our conduct and contemplate adjusting our thresholds of reaction accordingly.

If only to ensure that we, as a board, maintain an environment, which is conducive to healthy debate, from a diverse spectrum of opinions, specifically, posting in a way which is respectful of ourselves and others. Empathy PB, perhaps just a little.

I have held out the olive branch, only for it to be flung back in my face.

I have asked him to PM me in regards to our podcast, as everyone else has. But no. He just clogs the thread and posts and re-posts the roster in ignorance or disdain.

And last night he teed off again and launched into a tirade after I called him on prematurely calling an end to Pitt's career..

I simply countered his bullshit with facts and called him stupid.

Maybe a touch harsh, but jesus....he's hardly a child.

We don't need flame wars amongst our own, and the fact we are losing someone because of your nature of posting says something. I don't see any other user's on here complaining about couldabeen.

I can't speak as to the particulars of the situation PB, and I don't doubt your intentions for a moment, I've not considered any post of yours, which I've read, to be singularly malicious (bags of dicks included), but you do always seem quite intent on seeing each disagreement through to it's bitter end, and in what unravels as a fitting analogy, perhaps leave a little chain in the anchor locker next time, by going easy when paying out on the windlass.
