Mega Thread TRAINING REPORTS

I would go as far as to say that with the exception of Tony Modra, there wouldn't be a player who has ever played for Fremantle who would force anyone out of our current best 22.
Ben Allan
Shane Parker
Stephen O'Reilly
Peter Bell
Dale Kickett
Paul Haselby
James Clement
Jeff Farmer

All these guys would definately be in the side. You could also argue that Waterhouse, Hayden, Headland Medhurst and Fletcher would be in the side too. It's bad that that leaves at least 10 spots filled by our current side (expansion clubs aside no club would come close to that unenviable record) its silly to say only one player would make it though.

You forgot Longmuir and/or possibly Clem Michael.

I stand by what I said.
None of those players would push any of our current best 22 players out ; position for position.

Modra stands alone as the only addition at Full forward.

Heath Black would give it a crack too.

We have a history of a lot of reasonable players but a lot of, such players, doesn't make for a reasonable team.
I liked Heath Black but I wouldn't have him ahead of any of the current boys.

Justin Longmuir on reflection, possibly emergency. Sandi and Griffin before him though.

Heath Black would push out Duffield, IMO.

What !!?? .... Peter Bell the match winner ?
Never influenced a result for Fremantle.
So which onballer would you drop for Bell ? ...Mundy, Fyfe, Hill, Barlow ?
Sod the polite arguement. You're making an idiot of yourself. Peter Bell couldn't make our current side, seriously!? 2 time All Australian, 3 time Freo F&B, 2 time premiership player and 282 AFL matches, (a number less than 100 players in over 100 years have acheived). Stop pushing the proverbial up hill..

What argument ?
Which midfielder would he push out ?
Barlow, Mundy, Fyfe , Hill ?
And remind me in which game for Fremantle did he affect the result?
His personal record at North is irrelevant and F&B's with Freo is more a reflection of how devoid we were of classy players.
Nope doesn't get a game in our team now.

Players that I think would really compliment our team atm:

Peter Bell (Would be apart of a rotation) I know slightly different players but would much rather him than a Danyle Pearce and many other of our mids.
Tony Modra
Justin Longmuir
Robert Hadrill (Was particularly good a full back pre-injury)

You obviously have a short memory or are too young to know better!
Peter Bell was our best/2nd best player for a long time and influenced numerous games. Quite often the only player to show up on the day.

Mzungu's been good and getting better but still...

I've said before that Parker would have loved playing in this team, Lyon would be a fan of his effort and Parker spent a whole career playing with half the support he'd have around him now.
