And remind me in which game for Fremantle did he affect the result?
His personal record at North is irrelevant and F&B's with Freo is more a reflection of how devoid we were of classy players.
Nope doesn't get a game in our team now.

Easy, he plays in front of all of them. Fyfe is not yet better than Bell at his best; although I expect him to be. The rest will never even get close to being as good with the unlikely exception of Hill.
As for influencing games maybe it was one of the 15 times he got 3 brownlow votes for Freo. Interestingly enough he has the second highest average brownlow votes per game in the history of the club.

Peter Bell was our best/2nd best player for a long time and influenced numerous games. Quite often the only player to show up on the day.

Not really, other reasons besides lack of height are being too slow and very short kicking range .

Did you watch the games? Peter Bell was frequently tagged. Peter Bell was an outstanding player, one of the top midfielders of his time. For Freo and for Nth Melbourne. Comparable to Mitchell of the Hawks.
The Wiz would also easily fit into this team, ahead of deBoer, Ballas, and even Walters.
The difference is the system that the players play with, the manic attack on the ball and the running support that team mates supply. Our current players aren't that special ( in terms of future hall of famers) except a few like Fyfe, it's the game plan that makes the sum greater than the parts.

The difference is that the current crop has a coach that has given them guidance and direction. Our current team would beat any of the teams in our history but individually we have had some excellent players over the years. Although we had a very good team in 06 but wasn't coached to its optimum.

Michael Walters has been a good player but at the moment he is only half the player Farmer was.

Saw Mora at the shops yesterday arvo he had a bandage on his left calf but seemed to be walking fine. Only thing i picked up was that he did have a packet of Tim Tams in his shopping basket, how dare he ruin that body

We allow outward thinking and crazy ideas in this open forum as it creates healthy debate and occasionally great ideas. No such thing as a stupid question or idea, just needs to be responded to accordingly.
