Moller is no chance of a game this year, possibly even the year after so it's pretty interesting/bemusing to hear he trained with the main group.

Be an amazing left-fielder if it did happen. Don't discount this guy for too long Riteo, he will be carving it up in no time. Would/Could he provide more than Tabs currently? Hmmm

You're right in comparing him to Taberner because if he was to make the team it would have to be as a tall forward, I can't see him displacing any of Sandi/Griffin/Clarke in the next couple years and he's probably lineball with Hannath who you'd say has the edge due to his physique alone.

I haven't seen enough of him though to definitively say whether he'd offer more than Taberner or not, Tabs himself hasn't played nearly enough games to make an informed judgement on.

Moller has pace something both Tabs and Hannath lack
Moller is also good below his knees and a strong overhead mark , With a few kilos added to his frame he will be the answer to all our KPF problems in a couple of years:)

Mollers experience at playing basket ball will give him an edge over most talls in handling the ball below the knees and he has a terrific vertical jump as well .
He is very quick out of the blocks as well so training him to play forward just might bring him into the first 22 sooner than later IMHO.

Simpson either looks bigger or skins give him the perception of extra kgs.

I have this a few times in this thread. He definitely looks a lot bigger compared to when he arrived at the club. And the good sign is that his skinfolds look really good. I think people are getting a little carried away wit talk of Simmo's bad attitude. He will come good.

He looks a real player Salim. Agree.

For ruckman to go high in the draft they have to be physically developed. If Moller was 5-8Kg's heavier last year, he would've been talked up as a high draft selection.

The photo of Michie has me guessing that he has put on some serious build since preseason training especially through the core and legs . Salim you've seen him at trainining as much as anyone , do you agree or is it just the cameraman playing tricks because Spurr is no light weight and Michie looks to have
got himself not just up to his build but gone passed him .
Michie must be close to match fitness and build now .

There is no question Michie is the goods. The difficulty is the position availability in the Starting 22. Winning ways, guys holding their spots - all makes for the swap to Michie difficult. I pray we hold onto this kid long enough to have him get a real crack in the side.

Taberner, Neale, Suttcliffe and Sheridan all trained with the main squad today, as did Craig Moller.

No stand outs at training today and it wasn't exactly a full on session, however it's great to see so many players available to train today.

I don't think this is about playing this year, it's probably just a sighter for the coaching staff with a view to next year.

I'm not sure what others think, but he seems to have come on quicker than expected this year, especially after having a bit of an injury/fitness concern earlier, and with that mobility and aerial judgement ... could be the way to go in the next year or two to plonk him forward. Interesting times ahead for him.
