This was exactly what Josh Gibson mentioned as Clarkson's approach in a review of coaches through the eras a few years ago. The deconstruction of game elements into specific drills.

Seems a really good guy in a team environment too. Agree he has some athletic gifts and isn't afraid to try the hard jobs or commit to the task.

Just needs continuity and the opportunity for it all to click.
