Germo was brilliant on the run.Yeah Germo was automatic on the run
Wells
Not the one you're thinking of, but I still like the no look kick (starting at 0:45)
Sh*t Wells was smoother than 50 YO scotch. I had forgotten how beautiful it was seeing him about and gliding across the field. Thank you.

New York Giants turned their fortunes around in one season with a new Coach and haven’t been in Playoffs since 2016.
Just won and proceed through to next week.
Omen
The Jaguars also won a playoff game after finishing last two years in a row.
This was a fun article on them. Just replace Urban Meyer and Doug Peterson with David Noble and Alastair Clarkson and it’ll apply to us.
“Every time I hear a Jacksonville Jaguars player commend first-year coach Doug Pederson for “changing the culture” or “building trust” or bringing a sense of “reliability and professionalism” back to the organization, what I’m really hearing is this:
“My God, what a clown Urban Meyer was last season!”
Don’t get me wrong, Doug Pederson deserves a lot of credit, but the Jaguars could have hired any Doug — Doug Flutie or Doug E. Fresh or my high school coach Doug Feltner — and it would have been a vast improvement over Meyer. Pederson should get Coach of the Year consideration for leading the Jaguars from the worst team in the league a year ago to a division championship this season, but the turnaround in Jacksonville is also a massive indictment on just what a disaster Meyer was as an NFL coach.”

Yeah surprised there hasn’t been yetWould love to have a series of interviews with the draftees, just to get an idea of how they are finding the club, thoughts on their first pre-season and goals for the year. Hasn't been a stack of content out of the club this pre-season.
How are you ever surprised at anything?Yeah surprised there hasn’t been yet
Usually the media team do this every year
Thinking out loud here. With the over the top media team focus on JHF last year, the club is taking a more conservative approach with promoting our new early picks.Yeah surprised there hasn’t been yet

Just back from training - was a long session - close to 3 hours including the warm up which started at 9.
Only CZ missing from what I could see - Spicer, Tucker and Howe doing laps only and Griff and Corr doing solo running and ball work.
About 30-40 mins of match play at the end of training (with official umpires) after alot of skill based work in smaller groups.
Highlights were the midfield match ups in the match play.
The firsts (Goldie, Cunners, LDU, Jy) had their pants pulled down by the 'seconds' team - Xerri, Greenwood, Will Phil and either PC/Powell/Wardlaw.
Wil Phil completely dominated the match play - Greenwood was his partner in crime with LDU the best for the firsts. Xerri won the ruck contest.
Clarko had the firsts forwards play on the first backline - BMac an absolute rock back there - just doesn't get beaten and Larkey was getting quite frustrated playing on him. Hall and Goater gave plenty of run and carry for the firsts defence. Hall is still the main go to main for run out of the back 50.
On some individual players
- JZ played only in the backline (in the seconds backline) - still giving plenty of voice and direction
- CCJ played only as a forward in the 'seconds' - didn't do any ruck work in the match
- TT played in defence with a bit of a run in the mids when the 'firsts' mids needed someone to stop Wil Phil. TT was exclusive in defence in the skills part of training
- Chom working hard on his goal kicking at the end of practise with Patch - trying to come up with a set routine that he can rely on. He is clearly not confident in his routine and has work to do
- Wardlaw played the whole match, participated in all of training; Cheezal was used as a pure forward. Both are still coming to grips with AFL demands.
- Sleevo played forward.
All in all an enjoyable session.
Radio Bergman starting to fill out. Won't be a twig forever.
Someone said he wouldn't be half the player his father was.Cooper Harvey looks to be a much better player/prospect than his low drafting position would suggest. Could be a 200 game player - just a gut feel
