You wouldn't know they're the same age. Drury is dog walking him all over the joint. Consistently has 15m on him

He certainly looks good off half back, it will be interesting to see him in preseason on a dangerous half forward to see if he can defend.

With the ball he looks like Caleb Daniel out there

Well I've arrived onsite 7:30 am on the dot !! According to my timesheet anyways.

A good question you did raise.

Well it takes some 'work' to do this successfully I was originally based on the first floor of the building, oh I am the only site rep which makes it easier.
When I was on the first floor I'd have project managers visit me and get in the way.

So moved myself up to level 3, in a building without any lifts, these blighters are too lazy to walk 3 flights of stairs. An important bit of info that.

I started off full of hope and was keen to assist their development and improvement. But they have no desire for any of it. Was told to stop assisting and just look after what you can. So that is what I do.

I answer the phone when someone rings and when I leave between 3:20- 3:30pm as it takes 40-50 minutes to drive home, I wait until just after 4:00pm and ring some campaigner. Always get gee you've knocked off why you ringing.
I say well I've just left ya know.

Then they had a couple of legacy maintenance issues ie sports hall roof leaks, no one could bother getting them fixed, so I sorted that out. Was made to feel very special, I mean FFS people, it's ya job!!

Another mind bender was a level 9 rooftop garden leak, the dude in charge had half of it emptied ( it's huge) and it took wheelbarrows down lifts to do it. He seems to lose interest and it had sat half-empty with s**t everywhere for the past 14 months. He decided it was an issue with the waterproofing membrane.

Finally, with enough complaints of having a lovely area looking like the Somme, the job was given to me. It as I thought was a broken stormwater pipe, yeah I had the plumber's camera the drain.

So I did need a massive crane truck to access it, but it wasn't difficult, so what they thought was a 150K issue ended up being a 29K issue.

Like Harris 10 ( awesome work fyi- proud of you) if you make yourself available and seem to have a little bit of knowledge it is easy to keep a job when you're surrounded by dills. That have NFI how to run an operations team.

I will be looking to move on shortly I've about had enough and am better than this place.
I see you’ve mastered two work life skills, CYA ‘cover your arse’ and secondly your time is valuable.
The first is self explanatory, always cover, never agree to something you’re not 100% on and it flows onto the second point, if people believe your time is valuable, they won’t fill up your time with junk and you can always cya with someone else time.
Ie person asks a question you’re unsure of, answer ‘hmm I’m not sure of that I’ll get person A right onto it’. the art of the handball.

Echo the comments on Drury. In everything and ready to play from round 1.

Sheezel silky smooth and classy.

PC the most exciting for mine. Just impacts every contest and can beat anyone of any size one on one

Interesting watching Wardlaw in rehab running. Very laconic, seems to operate at about 80%. Hopefully under instruction to hold back for now

Heading off. I'll say this much

Comben might actually legitimately be the answer. They were subbing yellow fwds off in the first period and Mahony called him off. Comben stalked around the boundary line swearing under his breath and shaking his head. Hadn't done much up until that point. I think he'll provide a nice counter punch and a different personality to Larkey. Larkey seems a nice boy and personable for the cameras. Comben looks and acts like he wants to tear an arm from your body and beat you to death with it in front of your loved ones. Having said that he had a bit of a stinker in what I saw and as mentioned got a bit of a run around including on the deck from Goater

Goater will play a lot of footy for the club. He seemed to be blues main focal point out of the backline. His kicking is a bit hit and miss but his run and carry is something else. Takes aggressive lines, moves smoothly. Once the body fills out and he works on the rushed kicks he will be a really potent weapon off the HBF

Drury plays ones this year IMO. A better skilled version of what Turner offered. Trashed Coops' day, repeatedly linked up coming out of the backline. Probably the one giveaway that he's an 18yo is the 2-3 metres extra he needs on a kick to hit a target on the wing - a few kicks fell short. But seems very very mature, makes impressive decisions, extremely clean and basically did what he wanted

Free provided a really solid day as the blue ruck. Beat Goldy in a few contests, doesn't move like the human log we were promised. Can't kick nearly at all but more mobile than I thought he'd be

Scott vs Laz on a wing just head to head. For those expecting or hoping Bailey to put on any size, don't hold your breath. The kid is going to be built like a whippet for his whole career. Runs appropriate lines for a wingman, holds his shape, and smacked Laz around for 50 minutes. Lock him in as first choice wingman now and forget about it

I love it! All the best with your job hunting may you find something engaging with a full-time salary but on part-time hours.

Cafe would make a killing today with so many fans at the ground
Surely, at the least we could outsource a coffee cart/food van?

One of you local lads/ladies should approach the club and start a side hustle!

He definitley is.

Did some running last week and wanted to join the last session and was told he had done enough.

3/4 pace he was instructed to go at .

drury sound good based on these reports.
I've done our best 22 and we really don't have any small defenders, corr mcdonald can kinda play small but mcdonald has been exposed big time on a few occasions. Drury could nail a spot under clarko back there if he keeps putting in a good pre season

Spoke to him afterwards - confirmed. Says he’s feeling good, just building
