I don’t think players who haven’t signed on aren’t committed. He’s likely wanting to see if he snares AA / plaudits for his play at full back prior to maximising the $ he can earn. After COVID, I really don’t blame them for wanting to absolutely maximise their earn on any new deals.

I'm very happy to read that Shiels is setting a high standard, and keeping his teammates accountable + in line. That's what we got him for. The super professionalism that is the foundation of every successful sporting club. If he's doing it, then it will become contagious.
