I reckon every other club has at least one decent/good/excellent sub 180cm small forward for the now, and the future. 185cm aint a small forward.

Clarkson an absolute livewire. Lots of energy, time for everyone from youngest to oldest. Even went around making the first approach to people hanging back. Gun.

Kearney is as friendly and forthcoming as expected.

Hamish Free is a rather very large person.

BTW - Who's heading down for the intraclub tomorrow? I'm half and half at the moment, got a bit on but itching to see us in something close to a real game for the first time under Clarko.

Is he? Lions must have some dodgy tape measures. I'm 178cm, Charlie would be my height I reckon (but half my width), Lachie Neale is a fair bit shorter than me, and no way Dan Rich is 6ft tall.

Phillips, Powell & Greenwood wouldn’t stand a chance against Cunners, LDU & Simpkin imo.

Well Val they were the match ups about 3 weeks ago in full match sim and it was 90% of clearances to the first mentioned group.

It would be good to see those match ups again tomorrow to see how things have progressed over the pre season. Greenwood has been one of the best through pre season and Phillips is as fit as anyone - both must be best 23 at this stage of the pre season.

It could end up like the Under 11's where the best players swap sides at half time to even things up - anyway it should be good and I will be there to see it unfold!.

It would be good to see those match ups again tomorrow to see how things have progressed over the pre season. Greenwood has been one of the best through pre season and Phillips is as fit as anyone - both must be best 23 at this stage of the pre season.

It could end up like the Under 11's where the best players swap sides at half time to even things up - anyway it should be good and I will be there to see it unfold!.

I want love to see a few contests with all the half forwards Curtis, Bull and Sleevo. I reckon they wouldn’t go to bad as pinch hitters.

Didn't have a heap go right, possibly just a bad day, but the good players manage to keep their head in the game and still contribute. Just looks so slow when he doesn't have the ball. Struggles to run, lots of walking and slow jogging. And as a result really struggles to find the ball in space. Had a few small glimmers of brilliance but otherwise a dirty day."

Couldn't help but chuckle. Doesn't seem like much has changed.

Whilst I don’t wish him the worst. It is quite validating that his issues which supposedly stemmed from a lack of support at North, have followed him to Alberton.
