So will a squad be announced for tomorrows match sim or is every player participating? I see it's 4x25min quarters then 2X20min periods.

Absolutely we can swap 3x Norm Smith medal winner and 500 goal kicker Comben for a stout balding shitmen.
Cannot believe how the Hawk fans have turned on him
Hawthorn fans are just a different breed. Unlike other club supporters who go around wafting their own farts with nothing to back it up, hawks fans are so accustomed to getting a new flag every 5-6 years of their life that anything short of this gets them into spasms.
I kid you not a hawks fans I know in 2016-17 was already doing gallows humour about being s**t. Richmond 00s style. That's after coming off a ****ing threepeat, 12 months later they're taking the piss on their own club.
Another one commented that them losing a GF in 1987 made it more interesting because it "had been getting a bit boring".
Bit boring.
Winning premierships was getting a bit boring.
Clarkson's 2016-21 not netting a premiership had their supporters viewing him like their version ofDavid NobleMark Neeld.
I sat next to a Hawthorn supporter at work who got all “woe is me” by 2018…..

Add a brand new WiPhi, and fitter Powell and Curtis. We now have the beginnings of a great football side.Add Cunnington into the middle and it changes the whole side

out; Goldy & Simpkin both rested. Nothing to concern ourselves with, plus then any other listed injured player.

Ok so we had data based recruitment officers working for the last few years. Looking at stats from u18 performance metrics, covid interupted i get. We were not looking at over age players, going to young talent. I would say some of our draft picks, Powell, Phillips etc were data based and i think we nailed those picks. A small kid and a skinny kid without the silk at the time but hell they can get the ball, and actually they do have silk now. Powell omg. Moneyball is not just going for the flashy stand out look at the skills players in the draft. LDU was one of those and that was just a forturnate pick as I had him number 1 pick not 4. To me moneyball is getting the guts players who will not be a highlight real, Thomas, Shez. Love them both we had to pick them, but the pecentage players who will just make the slight dif between losing and winning. My point is maybe had GWS and GC had not just gone with the flash players maybe they would have won the flags that really they should have. And maybe as much as I think JHF will be a gun, it's possible that his leaving will be in future reflacted upon as a positive. I am as guilty as anyone going overboad on one player being the saviour, the Carey effect. But it's a delusion .Moneyball is the idea of recruiting players who have more actual value compared to what others think. I feel like most of these players are valued correctly as of right now.

Hamish - probably not.Pardon the intrusion everyone, I come in peace etc etc.
Hamish Free...is he likely to get a game at any point this season or languish in the VFL as depth?
Also wondering about Will Phillips...has he earned a midfield spot?
